ICE CREAM SANDWICH DESSERT

 

INGREDIENTS:

 

·        19 ice cream sandwiches

·        1 – 16 oz carton non-dairy whipped topping

·        Caramel ice cream sundae syrup

·        Chocolate syrup

·        1 c. chopped salted peanuts (optional)

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

 

1.     Cut one ice cream sandwich in half.

2.     Place 1 whole and 1 half sandwich along the short side of an ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan.

3.     Arrange 8 sandwiches in opposite direction in the pan.

4.     Spread half of the whipped topping over sandwiches.

5.     Swirl caramel generously lengthwise across the top; drizzle chocolate syrup in swirling lines widthwise.

6.     Sprinkle with 1/2 c. chopped peanuts, if desired.

7.     Repeat layers, swirling chocolate sryup lengthwise and caramel widthwise across the top.

8.     Cover and freeze (Can be frozen for up to 2 months).

9.     Remove from freezer 20 minutes before serving.

10.                          Cut into squares.

 

This recipe melts very quickly, so serve when ready to be eaten.
