Below is a Prayer of a Dental Hygienist that I have borrowed from Sandy Westenberger, R.D.H. The words in this prayer mean a lot to me and will continue to be my prayer throughout the years in my practice of Dental Hygiene. |

Lord, Open my heart to accept all people I meet today with an equal attitude of caring and concern. Strengthen my character, that I may not be afraid to display the courage of my convictions. Guide my hands, so that the skills I have acquired may give my patients better health. Touch my spirit, so those who come to me in need may leave happier and healthier for having been in my care. Amen |

"I have learned this at least by my experiment: That if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours." -Henry David Thoreau |
