Semifinals: Eden Prairie (27-3-0, Section 6) defeated Blaine (25-4-1, Section 5) 4-2 eng. Blaine jumped out to a 2-0 lead after one period. In the second period, Eden Prairie got on the scoreboard with a power play tally from senior forward Taylor Wolfe, at 9:52. The third period belonged to the Eagles as Eden Prairie outshot the Bengals 12-6. Sophomore forward Kyle Rau of Eden Prairie fired a shot off a defenseman, at 6:29, to knot the game, 2-2. At 13:14, Rau scored again to give the Eagles a 3-2 edge. In the final minute, Blaine pulled their goalie; however, senior defenseman Nick Leddy sent a long shot into the empty net, at 16:22. Eden Prairie outshot Blaine 30-19. For Eden Prairie, Rau had 2 goals, 1 assist and Wolfe had 1 goal, 1 assist. For Blaine, sophomore forward Nick Bjugstad and senior forward Clayton Wagamon each had 1 goal. Goalies: Eden Prairie - sophomore Andrew Ford, Blaine - junior Danny Harper. Moorhead (17-9-3, Section 8) defeated Cretin-Derham Hall (21-8-1, Section 3) 2-1. Moorhead outshot Cretin-Derham Hall 22-18. For Moorhead, senior forward Jordan Doschadis and junior forward Braden Rahman each had 1 goal, 1 assist and senior forward Alex Altenbernd had 2 assists. Consolation Final: Edina (26-5-0, Section 2) defeated Hill-Murray (19-11-1, Section 4) 5-2. Edina took a 2-1 lead after one period on two goals from senior forward Marshall Everson. Everson notche the hat trick in the second period putting the Hornets on top, 3-1, after two. In the third period, the teams tgraded goals before Everson capped the scoring with his fourth goal of the contest. Edina outshot Hill-Murray 26-16. For Edina, Everson had 4 goals, senior forward Anders Lee had 4 assists, and senior forward Connor Gaarder had 1 goal, 3 assists. Finals: Eden Prairie (28-3-0, Section 6) defeated Moorhead (17-10-3, Section 8) 3-0. Eden Prairie set the tone with with two goals late in the first period. Junior forward Mitch Rogge scored at 14:26 and senior defenseman Nick Leddy tallied at 16:03. The second period was scoreless without much offensive action as the Eagles outshot Moorhead only 5-3. Moorhead tried to come back in the third period and outshot Eden Prairie 19-7; however, sophomore defenseman Dan Molenaar of the Eagles notched the only goal, at 9:58, and sophomore goalie Andrew Ford completed the shutout. Eden Prairie outshot Moorhead 28-21. For Eden Prairie, Leddy had 1 goal, 1 assist. Goalies: Eden Prairie - Ford, Moorhead - junior Logan Marks.
