First Round:
Minneapolis East (15-8-3, #8 seed) defeated Minneapolis West (1-26-0, #9 seed) 6-2.

Minneapolis East pumped in five goals in the second period, including three from senior forward Yarri Bryn, for a 6-1 margin after two.
Minneapolis East outshot Minneapolis West 48-27.
For Minneapolis East, Bryn had 4 goals and senior forward Matt Jones had 3 assists.
For Minneapolis West, junior forward Jack Behm and senior forward Cody Bellefleur each had 1 goal, 1 assist.
Goalies:  Minneapolis East - senior Nick Dudero, Minneapolis West - freshman Griffin Thomas.

Quarterfinals:
Eden Prairie (23-3-0, #1 seed) defeated Minneapolis East (15-9-3, #8 seed) 10-3.

Eden Prairie fired 72 shots on goal in leading 4-2 after one period and 7-3 after two.
The Eagles outshot Minneapolis East 72-15.
For Eden Prairie, sophomore forward Kyle Rau had 1 goal, 3 assists, junior forward Mitch Rogge had 1 goal, 2 assists, and senior forward Taylor Wolfe had 2 goals.
For Minneapolis East, senior forward Yarri Bryn had 2 goals, 1 assist.

Minnetonka (19-7-0, #2 seed) shutout Robbinsdale Cooper (6-19-1, #7 seed) 10-0.

Minnetonka coasted with a 4-0 bulge after one period.  Senior goalie Nick Job notched the shutout.
The Skippers outshot Robbinsdale Cooper 51-5.
For Minnetonka, senior forward Sam Coatta had 3 goals, 1 assist and freshman forward Erik Baskin and sophomore forward Jack Luke each had 1 goal, 2 assists.

Wayzata (17-8-1, #3 seed) shutout Robbinsdale Armstrong (10-15-1, #6 seed) 4-0  eng.

The teams were scoreless through the first half of the game before Wayzata erupted for three goals in less than two minutes late in the second period to pull into a 3-0 lead.  In the third period, senior goalie Ty Simcoe of the Trojans completed the shutout while Wayzata added an empty net goal.

For Wayzata, junior defenseman Lucas Whelan had 1 goal, 2 assists.

Benilde-St. Margaret's (21-6-0, #4 seed) defeated Hopkins (15-10-1, #5 seed) 4-1.

Benilde-St. Margeret's led 1-0 after one period but took command with two goals in :25 late in the second period.  Senior forward Nate Seashore of Hopkins netted a power play tally to make it a 3-1 contest after two.  The Red Knights kept Hopkins in check during the third period and put the game away with a shorthanded goal from senior forward Bryan Glynn, at 9:29.

For Benilde-St. Margaret's, Glynn had 1 goal, 1 assist and junior forward Brett Patterson had 2 assists.
For Hopkins, Seashore had 1 goal.

Semifinals:
Eden Prairie (24-3-0, #1 seed) defeated Benilde-St. Margaret's (21-7-0, #4 seed) 3-1  eng.
Senior forward Joe McQuillan of Eden Prairie tallied only :20 into the first period to give the Eagles a one goal advantage that they would preserve for the rest of the game.  Eden Prairie led 1-0 after one period and for most of the second before the teams exchanged goals in the final minute of the second period giving the Eagles a 2-1 edge after two.  The third period was even with the Eagles defending their lead until the final minute.  Benilde-St. Margaret's pulled their goalie; however, junior forward Mike Erickson of Eden Prairie converted an empty net goal, at 16:43, to seal the victory.

For Eden Prairie, McQuillan and Erickson each had 1 goal, 1 assist and senior defenseman Nick Leddy had 2 assists.
For Benilde-St. Margaret's, senior forward Bryan Glynn had 1 goal.

Minnetonka (20-7-0, #2 seed) defeated Wayzata (17-9-1, #3 seed) 4-1.
Minnetonka led 1-0 after a close first period but carried the play over the final two periods.  The Skippers netted another goal in the second period and wore down Wayzata with two more in the third before the Trojans tallied in the final minute.

For Minnetonka, senior forward Sam Coatta had 1 goal, 1 assist and junior forward Tommy Lundquist had 2 assists.
For Wayzata, sophomore forward Tony Cameranesi had 1 goal.
Goalies:  Minnetonka - junior Jim Kruger, Wayzata - senior Ty Simcoe.


Final:
Eden Prairie (25-3-0, #1 seed) defeated Minnetonka (20-8-0, #2 seed) 4-2.
Eden Prairie took a 1-0 lead in the first period on a goal from senior forward Taylor Wolfe, at 6:15.  In the second period, the teams exchanged early tallies as sophomore forward Derek Frawley of Minnetonka scored, only :24 into the period, and junior forward Mike Erickson of the Eagles knocked in a rebound, at 2:32.  The turning point came early in the third period.  Sophomore forward Kyle Rau of Eden Prairie drove to the net from the right circle but his soft shot was stopped by junior goalie Jim Kruger of the Skippers at the right post.  Rau flew across the crease and collided with Kruger sending both players into the left post.  The puck laid in the right crease and was tapped in by the diving junior forward Mitch Rogge of Eden Prairie as the net slightly came off the left post.  After the play, Minnetonka coaches questioned whether the net was knocked off before the goal was scored; however, the goal was allowed and Eden Prairie led, 3-1.  At 8:22, a shot by the Eagles handcuffed Kruger and sophomore forward Jack McCartan of Eden Prairie tapped in the loose puck from in close for a 4-1 edge.  Senior forward Sam Coatta of the Skippers added a late goal, at 14:34,  from the mid-slot.

For Eden Prairie, Wolfe had 1 goal, 1 assist and Rau and senior forward Matson Gravelle each had 2 assists.
For Minnetonka, Coatta and Frawley each had 1 goal.
