Defending Champ - Blaine.

Quarterfinals:
Blaine (22-3-1, #1 seed) defeated Irondale (7-18-1, #8 seed) 9-2.
Blaine logged six goals in the second period.
The Bengals outshot Irondale 44-15.
For Blaine, senior forward Zac Frischmon had 3 goals, 1 assist, senoir defenseman Matt Blomquist had 4 assists, and junior forward Eric Scheid had 2 goals, 1 assist.
For Irondale, senior forward Aaron Iverson and junior forward Jack Healy each had 1 goal.
Goalies:  Blaine - junior Danny Harper, Irondale - junior Lance Bortot.

Maple Grove (20-3-3, #2 seed) shutout Coon Rapids (2-24-0, #7 seed) 7-0.
Maple Grove scored a pair of goals in each of the first two periods to lead 4-0 after two.  Senior goalie Sean Elmer of the Crimson made only eight saves for the shutout.

For Maple Grove, senior forward Matt Dee had 3 goals, 2 assists and senior forward Josh Gross had 4 assists.
Goalies:  Maple Grove - Elmer, Coon Rapids - senior Rob Reski.

Centennial (18-4-4, #3 seed) shutout North Metro (6-20-0, #6 seed) 7-0.
Centennial tallied three goals in both the first and second periods.  Sophomore goalie Brett Larsen of the Cougars notched the shutout.
Centennial outshot North Metro 36-10.
For Centennial, senior forward Tyler Pitlick had 2 goals, 2 assists and junior forward Jordan Lovick had 1 goal, 2 assists.
Goalies:  Centennial - Larsen, North Metro - junior Josh Groth (first and second periods) and senior Matt Hauer (third period).

Osseo (14-12-0, #4 seed) defeated Champlin Park (9-17-0, #5 seed) 6-3.
The teams were tied 2-2 after one period; however, Osseo netted two goals in the second period for a
4-2 edge after two.  In the third period, Champlin Park got an early power play tally; but, the Orioles received goals from sophomore forward Tim Bonner and senior forward Kevin Kray to put the game on ice.
Osseo outshot Champlin Park 31-28.
For Osseo, junior forward Tom Windle had 3 assists and Kray and Bonner each had 2 goals.
For Champlin Park, senior forwards Michael Woods and Taylor Kline and senior defenseman Jon Manke each had 1 goal.
Goalies:  Osseo - senior Ben Cohn, Champlin Park - sophomore Zach Duberry.


Semifinals:
Blaine (23-3-1, #1 seed) defeated Osseo (14-13-0, #4 seed) 2-1 in overtime.
Osseo was a minute away from pulling off the upset as the Orioles held Blaine scoreless for two periods and 16 minutes.  Osseo notched the only goal of the first two periods, at 3:10 of the second period, on a tally from sophomore forward Tim Bonner as the Orioles led 1-0 after two.  The Bengals put on more offensive pressure in the third period.  Blaine outshot the Orioles 11-5 in the period; however, the Osseo defense kept the Bengals off the scoreboard.  In the final minute, Blaine pulled their goalie; and, only a few seconds later, senior forward Zac Frishmon of the Bengals knocked in a rebound, at 16:18, to tie the contest, 1-1.  In overtime, Blaine was able to keep Osseo from getting any offensive chances; and, at 5:14,  it was Frischmon again who fired in a shot from the slot off a pass from behind the net to give the Bengals the victory.

For Blaine, Frischmon had 2 goals and senior defenseman Ryan Brockway had 2 assists.
For Osseo, Bonner had 1 goal.
Goalies:  Blaine - junior Danny Harper, Osseo - senior Ben Cohn.

Centennial (19-4-4, #3 seed) defeated Maple Grove (20-4-3, #2 seed) 6-4  eng.
Maple Grove jumped out to an early 2-0 edge with a pair of goals in the first 3:00; but Centennial tied the contest, 2-2, after one.  The Crimson outshot Centennial 13-6 in the second period; however, each team netted a tally for a 3-3 deadlock after two.  In the third period, the Cougars scored early; but, Maple Grove countered in the middle of the period, knotting the score again, at 4-4.  The game stayed even until the final minute when junior forward Jordan Lovick of Centennial tallied, at 16:33, to give the Cougars the game.  Senior forward Tyler Pitlick added an empty net goal, at 16:48.

For Centennial, Lovick had 1 goal, 2 assists and Pitlick had 2 goals.
For Maple Grove, junior forward Alec Horton had 1 goal, 1 assist.
Goalies:  Centennial - sophomore Brett Larsen, Maple Grove - senior Sean Elmer.


Final:
Blaine (24-3-1, #1 seed) defeated Centennial (19-5-4, #3 seed) 7-1.

Blaine scored two goals in the final minute of the first period to claim a 2-0 advantage after one.  In the second period, junior forward Jordan Lovick of Centennial notched a tally, at 3:02; however, the Bengals struck for three more goals to pull away to a 5-1 bulge after two.  Senior forward Zac Frishmon of Blaine finished off the scoring with two tallies in the third period.
Blaine outshot Centennial 32-22.
For Blaine, Frischmon had 3 goals, senior defenseman Ryan Brockway had 3 assists, juniors forward Gavin Tufte and Eric Scheid along with senior forward Tyler Turnquist each had 1 goal, 1 assist, and senior forward Matt Blomquist had 2 assists.
For Centennial, Lovick had 1 goal.
Goalies:  Blaine - junior Danny Harper, Centennial - sophomore Brett Larsen.
