First Round:
Rosemount (3-23-0, #8 seed) defeated Henry Sibley (4-21-1, #9 seed) 4-1.
Henry Sibley scored the first goal of the game; but, Rosemount responded with three tallies of their own in the first period to lead 3-1 after one.
Rosemount outshot Henry Sibley 41-15.
For Rosemount, sophomore forward Brady Loew had 2 goals and junior forward Andrew Anderson and senior defenseman Grant Wierke each had 2 assists.
For Henry Sibley, junior defenseman Garrett Dykmann had 1 goal.
Goalies:  Rosemount - sophomore Justin Franks, Henry Sibley - junior Ryan Lynch.

Quarterfinals:
Woodbury (21-3-2, #1 seed) defeated Rosemount (3-24-0, #8 seed) 4-3.
Woodbury scored the only goal of the first period and struck for two shorthanded tallies, from junior defenseman Walker Hyland and senior forward Tony Pittman, on the same Rosemount power play in the second period, to surge in front, 3-0, after two.  The Royals led 4-1 when Pittman scored again, at 10:08 of the third period; however, Rosemount put some pressure on Woodbury with tallies from junior forward Andrew Anderson, at 12:12, and sophomore forward Brady Loew, at 13:11, to pull within 4-3.
Woodbury outshot Rosemount 33-26.
For Woodbury, Pittman had 2 goals, 1 assist and junior defenseman Andrew Herbert had 3 assists.
For Rosemount, Loew had 1 goal, 1 assist.

Cretin-Derham Hall (18-7-1, #2 seed) defeated Park-Cottage Grove (4-21-1, #7 seed) 7-3.
Cretin-Derham Hall crusised to a 4-0 lead after one period.
The Raiders outshot Park-Cottage Grove 30-13.
For Cretin-Derham Hall, junior forward Jesse Perron and sophomore forward Tony Barbato each had 1 goal, 2 assists and sophomore defenseman Tyller Robert had 2 goals.
For Park-Cottage Grove, sophomore forward Kirby Quebodeaux had 2 goals, 1 assist and junior forward Branden Graf had 1 goal, 2 assists.
Goalies:  Cretin-Derham Hall - senior Ben Walsh, Park-Cottage Grove - senior Matt Fretwell.

Eagan (17-8-1, #3 seed) defeated Hastings (8-16-2, #6 seed) 4-3.
Eagan carried the play; but, Hastings kept the game close.  Eagan never trailed and garnered a 4-2 edge on a goal from junior forward Ryan Lutz early in the third period.  Senior forward Garrett Lucking of the Raiders netted a goal, at 13:35, pull Hastings to within 4-3; but, that's as close as the Raiders would get.
Eagan outshot Hastings 50-31.
For Eagan, Lutz had 1 goal, 1 assist and senior forward Reed Medernach had 2 assists.
For Hastings, Lucking had 1 goal, 1 assist and sophomore foward Austin Nelson had 2 assists.
Goalies:  Eagan - senior Trent Caspar, Hastings - senior Jon Gleinser.

Apple Valley (13-12-1, #4 seed) defeated Eastview (10-15-1, #5 seed) 5-2.

Apple Valley controlled the game and led 3-2 after two periods before racking up a pair of goals in the third period.

For Apple Valley, junior forward Chris Fischer and freshman forward AJ Michaelson each had 1 goal, 2 assists and senior forward Colton Warner had 1 goal, 1 assist.
For Eastview, senior forward Travis Schweiger and junior forward Mike Chacich each had 1 goal.
Goalies:  Apple Valley - sophomore Aaron Gretz, Eastview - junior Ryan O'Shea.

Semifinals:
Apple Valley (14-12-1, #4 seed) upset Woodbury (21-4-2, #1 seed) 2-0  eng.
This game was even all the way and the goaltenders were stingy.  The first two periods were scoreless; but, in the third period, Apple Valley used a power play to get on the scoreboard when freshman forward AJ Michaelson tallied, at 8:01.  Woodbury had two power plays of their own over the next six minutes but could not put the puck in the net.   The Royals still trailed 1-0 when they pulled their goalie in the final minute; however, senior defenseman Derek Thompson of Apple Valley connected on a shot with the empty net, at 16:40, to put the game away.  Sophomore goalie Aaron Gretz of the Eagles was solid in goal with 31 saves and the shutout.

For Apple Valley, junior forward Chris Fischer had 2 assists.

Cretin-Derham Hall (19-7-1, #2 seed) shutout Eagan (17-9-1, #3 seed) 6-0.
Cretin-Derham Hall notched three goals in the last five minutes of the first period and tacked on three more in the third period while senior goalie Ben Walsh recorded the shutout.

For Cretin-Derham Hall, sophomore forward Bob Kinne had 2 goals, 1 assist.

Final:
Cretin-Derham Hall (20-7-1, #2 seed) defeated Apple Valley (14-13-1, #4 seed) 2-1 in overtime.
Cretin-Derham Hall took advantage of an Apple Valley penalty only :30 into the game when senior forward Tommy Zimmerman blasted in a one-timer, at 1:19.  In the second period, freshman forward AJ Michaelson of the Eagles evened the contest, 1-1, with a wrist shot, at 4:23.  The teams battled through an even third period to send the game to overtime.  In overtime, the difference was special teams.  The Raiders picked up a penalty, at 1:40; but, Cretin-Derham Hall was able to skate off the Apple Valley power play.  Only a few seconds after the power play ended, the Eagles where whistled for an infranction, at 4:00.  At 4:12, senior forward Ben McClellan of the Raiders punched in a rebound, with the man-advantage, for the game-winner.
