| SELECT 17 HOCKEY FESTIVAL June 25-June 30, 2006 Three Minnesotans were among the top scorers at the Select 16 Hockey Festival in Rochester, New York. Danny Kristo, a freshman forward at Eden Prairie last season, finished second in scoring during the Festival with eight points. Jordan Schroeder, a freshman forward at St. Thomas Academy in the 2005-2006 season, and Nick Pryor, an eighth grade defenseman for Hill-Murray, both netted seven points. Team Black (4-1-0) won the American Division and Team Royal (5-0-0) won the National Division at the Festival. Each team played the other five teams in their Division. Each game featured two 23 minute periods. The undefeated Team Royal included five players from Minnesota. Team Black, Team Purple, Team Teal, Team Royal, and Team Green each scored 20 goals and Team Royal was #1 in defense allowing eight goals.
