Grafton-Park River (16-7-2, East #3) defeated Bismarck Century (West #2) 3-2.
Senior forward Kevin Iverson of Grafton-Park River scored on a power play midway through the third period to give the Spoilers the victory.  For Grafton-Park River, junior defenseman Lee Tibert had 3 assists.  Goalies:  Grafton-Park River - freshman Tony Kringstad, Bismarck Century - Jon Weisgerber.
Grand Forks Central (24-1-0, East #1) shutout Devils Lake-Cando (West #4) 9-0.
Grand Forks Central scored four goals in each of the first two periods.  Junior forward Matt Moreland had a hat trick in the first period and five goals for the game.  Grand Forks Central outshot Devils Lake-Cando 36-9.  For Grand Forks Central, Moreland had 5 goals, junior forward Jordan McIntyre and senior forward Wade Willyard each had 1 goal, 4 assists.  Goalies:  Grand Forks Central - senior Kasey Moreland and junior Tony Meyer, Devils Lake-Cando - Blake LeFleur and junior Brady Homan.
Grand Forks Red River (East #2) defeated Bismarck (12-11-2, West #3) 3-2.
Grand Forks Red River led 2-1 after one period and took a 3-1 lead at 3:29 of the second period on a shorthanded goal from junior forward Eric Jensen.  At 0:51 of the third period, sophomore forward Sam Aide of Bismarck made it a 3-2 game, but the Roughriders held off the Demons the rest of the way.  Grand Forks Red River outshot Bismarck 30-16.  Goalies:  Grand Forks Red River - Chris Bergrud.
West Fargo (12-13-0, East #4) defeated Minot (18-6-1, West #1) 2-1 in overtime.
After a scoreless first period, Minot led 1-0 after two.  Minot still led 1-0 late in the third period, after a power play expired at 13:08; however, at 13:20, junior defenseman David Rankin of West Fargo threw a centering pass that was deflected into the net by Minot goalie Marty Jackson to tie the game 1-1.  In overtime, Tyler Dockter of West Fargo centered a pass from behind the net that deflected in off the shin pad of a Minot skater to give the Packers the victory at 3:17.  Minot had 27 shots on goal.  Goalies:  West Fargo - Nick Reinisch, Minot - Jackson.


Consolation Semifinals:
Bismarck Century (West #2) defeated Devils Lake-Cando (West #4) 4-3.
Bismarck (13-11-2, West #3) defeated Minot (18- 7-1, West #1) 3-2.

Grand Forks Red River (East #2) defeated West Fargo (12-14-0, East #4) 5-1.
Grand Forks Red River scored three goals in the second period to lead 4-0 after two.  Grand Forks Red River outshot West Fargo 28-10.  For Grand Forks Red River, Ryan Moore had 2 goals, 1 assist.
Grand Forks Central (25-1-0, East #1) shutout Grafton-Park River (16-8-2, East #3) 7-0.
For the second consecutive game, Grand Forks Central had a skater with five goals and notched another shutout.  Junior forward Jordan McIntyre had 5 goals including the first three of the game.  Senior goalie Kasey Moreland logged his second straight shutout.  The Knights led 4-0 after one period.  Grafton-Park River had 15 shots on goal.  For Grand Forks Central, McIntyre had 5 goals, 1 assist.  Goalies:  Grand Forks Central - Moreland.

Bismarck Century (West #2) vs Bismarck (13-11-2, West #3)

Third Place Game:
Grafton-Park River (17-8-2, East #3) shutout West Fargo (12-15-0, East #4) 4-0.

Grand Forks Central (26-1-0, East #1) shutout Grand Forks Red River (East #2) 5-0.
Senior goalie Kasey Moreland of Grand Forks Central collected his third consecutive State Tournament shutout and sixth consecutive shutout stretching back to the Regionals while the Knights tallied three shorthanded goals for the State Championship.  Grand Forks Central led 1-0 after one period and 3-0 midway through the second before the Knights scored shorthanded goals :13 apart to take a 5-0 lead.  Grand Forks Red River had 19 shots on goal.  For Grand Forks Central, senior forward Wade Willyard had 2 goals and junior forward Matt Moreland had 1 goal, 1 assist.  Goalies:  Grand Forks Central - Moreland.
