Orchard Lake St. Mary's (14-12-2, Regional 5) defeated Ann Arbor Pioneer (15-13-0, Regional 6) 6-1. Grosse Pointe North (16-10-2, Regional 8) shutout Macomb Dakota (20-5-3, Regional 7) 5-0.

Marquette (20-5-3, Regional 1) shutout Grosse Pointe North (16-11-2, Regional 8) 3-0.
Grosse Pointe North carried the play; however, senior goalie Jon Nezich of Marquette came up big with a shutout while the Redman notched a goal in each period.  Sophomore forward Eric Rizzio tallied in the first period and added an empty net marker in the third.  Grosse Pointe North outshot Marquette 39-17.  For Marquette, Rizzio had 2 goals and senior forward Aaron Lancour had 1 goal.  Goalies:  Marquette - Nezich, Grosse Pointe North - junior Eric Rohrkemper.
Orchard Lake St. Mary's (15-12-2, Regional 5) shutout Clarkston (11-16-5, Regional 4) 2-0.
Junior forward Andrew Cloonan of Orchard Lake St. Mary's scored goals in the first and third periods while senior goalie Ryan Morley-Stockton completed the shutout.  Orchard Lake St. Mary's outshot Clarkston 36-19  For Orchard Lake St. Mary's, Cloonan had 2 goals.  Goalies:  Orchard Lake St. Mary's - Morley-Stockton, Clarkston - junior Garrett Knappe.

Marquette (20-5-4, Regional 1) tied Orchard Lake St. Mary's (15-12-3, Regional 5) 1-1
in eight overtimes.
After a scoreless first period, junior forward Mike Peterson of Marquette tallied on a power play in the second period to give the Redmen a 1-0 lead after two.  Marquette maintained their 1-0 advantage throughout the third period until the final minutes.  With 1:36 remaining in regulation and a face off in the Marquette zone, Orchard Lake St. Mary's pulled their goalie; and, only :04 later, at 13:28, senior forward Tim Hooker of the Eaglets slipped in a goal from close range to tie the contest, 1-1.  The teams battled through eight overtime periods; but, neither team could score.  Each overtime was six minutes in length; and, all overtimes were close with Marquette usually outshooting Orchard Lake St. Mary's by two or three shots.  After eight overtimes, the Michigan High School Athletic Association called the game a tie and declared the teams as co-champions.  The two teams played a total of 109 minutes, 45 minutes of regulartion and 64 minutes of overtime.  Marquette outshot Orchard Lake St. Mary's 59-34.  For Marquette - Peterson had 1 goal.  For Orchard Lake St. Mary's, Hooker had 1 goal.  Goalies:  Marquette - senior Jon Nezich, Orchard Lake St. Mary's - senior Ryan Morley-Stockton.

Trenton outshot Grand Rapids Forest Hills Eastern/Northern 25-12.  For Trenton, senior forward Josh Miller had 3 goals, 1 assist and Jon Wilson had 3 goals.  Goalies:  Trenton - senior Marco DeGrazia, Grand Rapids Forest Hills Eastern/Northern - senior Sean Winks.
Midland (23-2-0, Regional 11) defeated Farmington (26-2-1, Regional 14) 2-1.
The teams were tied 1-1 after one period.  There was no scoring in the second period; however, senior Joel Parsons of Midland tallied the game-winner at 5:02 of the third period.  Midland outshot Farmington 14-12. For Midland, Parsons and Wesley Lacourt each had 1 goal.  For Farmington, senior forward Mark Scott had 1 goal.  Goalies:  Midland - junior Alex Sepesy, Farmington - senior Chris Newton.

Trenton notched three goals in the second period while senior goalie Marco DeGrazia collected the shutout. Trenton outshot Midland 24-14.  For Trenton, senior defenseman Blake Mikolajewski had 1 goal, 1 assist.  Goalies:  Trenton - DeGrazia, Midland - junior Alex Sepesy.

in overtime.
The teams were tied 3-3 after two periods.  In the third period, with Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central on the power play, Calumet moved ahead, 4-3, with a shorthanded goal from Joe Hyrkas, at 10:56; however, Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central came right back with a tally from Spencer Bonomo on the power play, at 11:36, to retie  the game, 4-4.  In overtime, Hyrkas of the Copper Kings notched the game-winner at 3:57.  Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central outshot Calumet 38-26.  For Calumet, Hyrkas had 3 goals, 2 assists and Kyle Peters had 1 goal, 2 assists.  For Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central, Chris Hughes had 1 goal, 2 assists and Bonomo and Trevor Lopez each had 1 goal, 1 assist.  Goalies:  Calumet - Tyler Juntilla, Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central - Matt Pigula.

Flint Powers Catholic (25-3-1, Regional 20) defeated Allen Park (18-9-2, Regional 22) 3-2.
Flint Powers Catholic led 1-0 after one period and 2-1 after two with two goals from junior forward Jonah Spurlin.  At 4:23 of the third period, the Chargers took control with a power play tally from Brent Moore giving Flint Powers Catholic a 3-1 advantage.  Flint Powers Catholic outshot Allen Park 25-13.  For Flint Powers Catholic,  Spurlin had 2 goals, 1 assist, Moore had 1 goal, 1 assist, and junior forward Spencer Irvin had 2 assists..  For Allen Park, Jacob Schlaucht had 1 goal, 1 assist.  Goalies:  Flint Powers Catholic - senior Matt Crowder, Allen Park - senior Zach Mielen.

in overtime.
Flint Powers Catholic outshot Calumet 22-11 in the scoreless first two periods; however, shots were even 9-9 in the third period that left the game deadlocked 0-0 at the end of regulation.  In overtime, at 4:18, senior Logan Rostello of Calumet knocked in his own rebound for the game-winner.  Flint Powers Catholic outshot Calumet 32-25.  Goalies:  Calumet - Tyler Juntilla, Flint Powers Catholic - senior Matt Crowder.
