Edina 6 Minnetonka 5 OT 21-4-0 18-7-0 Minnetonka scored two goals in each of the first two periods to lead 4-1 after two. Early in the third period, Edina notched a pair of tallies :25 apart to pull within 4-3 at 3:37. At 4:35, junior defenseman Troy Hesketh of the Skippers responded with a goal that gave Minnetonka a 5-3 edge. Senior forward Marshall Everson of the Hornets logged a tally, at 8:49; and, again, Edina trailed by only a goal, 5-4. Less than two minutes later, the Hornets tied the game when sophomore forward Max Everson scored, at 10:22. In overtime, Edina outshot the Skippers 6-3; and, junior forward Charlie Taft fired in the game-winner, at 5:26. Edina outshot Minnetonka 36-34. It looked like the game was headed for overtime; however, senior forward Tyler Voigt of the Eagles notched the game-winner at 16:48. Rochester Lourdes outshot Totino-Grace 32-23.
