Centennial outshot Elk River/Zimmerman in each period; but, a strong game from freshman goalie Anders Franke of the Elks kept Centennial in check.  Elk River/Zimmerman notched three straight goals in the second period to lead 3-1 after two.  In the third period, senior forward Tyler Pitlick of Centennial tallied, at 2:55, to pull the Cougars within a goal, 3-2; however, senior forward Chris Pullar of the Elks put the game away with a power play marker, at 11:33.

Hill-Murray carried the play in the first two periods; but, the teams were tied 2-2 after two.  The Pioneers outshot Tartan 17-7 in the final period; however, the Titans got the first break when senior forward Ryan Abrahamson scored, at 6:29, to give Tartan a 3-2 edge.  The score stayed that way until the final minute despite plenty of pressure from Hill-Murray.  The Pioneers pulled their goalie in the final minute; but, senior forward Ben Lovick of the Titans hit the empty net at 16:36.

Roseau dominated the game; but, the first period was scoreless and Thief River Falls notched two goals in the second period for a 2-0 margin after two.  The Rams outshot Thief River Falls in the third period, 24-2; and, sophomore forward Shane Omdahl of Roseau scored at 6:02 to pull the Rams within a goal, 2-1.  At 12:41, the Prowlers came back with a power play tally to momentarily reclaim their two-goal advantage; however, Roseau retaliated :39 later, at 13:20, with a goal from senior defenseman Erik Mattson to make it a 3-2 game.  The Rams were still down a goal as the game entered the final minute of regulation.  Roseau pulled their goalie; and, at 16:22, Omdahl fired in the tying goal to send the game to overtime.  In overtime, Thief River Falls picked up a penalty, at 4:24, however, at 4:49, junior forward Matt Lindquist tallied a shorthanded goal to give the Prowlers the win.

Totino-Grace 4 Benilde-St. Margaret's 3

Totino-Grace bolted to a 3-1 lead after one period and made it stand up.  Benilde-St. Margaret's kept it interesting with two goals in the third period and close to within 4-3 on a goal from junior forward Brett Patterson, at 15:41.
Shots were even 28-28.
For Totino-Grace, senior forward Dan DeLisle had 2 goals, 1 assist and junior forward Nik Colpitts and sophomore forward Cole Salewski each had 1 goal, 1 assist.
For Benilde-St. Margaret's, Patterson had 1 goal, 1 assist and freshman forward Christian Horn had 2 assists.

White Bear Lake skated their way to a 4-2 margin early in the third period.  Roseville pulled back into contention with a power play goal at 12:07.  The score stayed 3-2 until the final minute.  The Raiders pulled their goalie; but, the Bears got an empty net tally from senior forward Chad Lowell at 16:09.

Woodbury 3 Cretin-Derham Hall 2

There was no scoring in the first period; and, Cretin-Derham Hall scored the first two goals of the second period to take a 2-0 edge.  Junior forward Max Gaede of Woodbury got the Royals on the scoreboard before the end of the period, at 14:17.  Only :35 into the third period, junior defenseman Walker Hyland of Woodbury tied the contest, 2-2.  Five minutes later, the Royals grabbed the lead after a tally from sophomore forward Christian Turner, at 5:36.  Woodbury held the Raiders the rest of the way.
