Warroad notched the only goal of the second period and opened up a 3-1 margin on a power play tally from junior forward Brock Nelson at 3:28 of the third period. A minute later, senior defenseman Erik Mattson of Roseau scored to make it a 3-2 game; and, the Rams put on some offensive pressure, but the score stayed that way until the final minute.
