The teams were tied 2-2 after two periods and 3-3 midway through the third.  At 8:22 of the final period, senior forward Levi Lawinger of Prairie Centre Area tallied to give the North Stars a 4-3 edge.  Senior forward Travis Moller of the North Stars tacked on an empty net goal.

Most of the action was in the third period.  Sartell-St. Stephen took a 2-0 with a goal in the first minute of the third period.  St. Cloud Tech came back with two tallies and tied the game, 2-2, when senior defenseman Gus Miller scored on a power play, at 13:59.  Just :13 later, junior forward Sean Tillman of the Sabres broke in for a goal that gave the lead back to Sartell-St. Stephen, 3-2, at 14:12.  The Sabres held the Tigers for the final three minutes.

The game was scoreless through two periods, although Totino-Grace carried the play.  Senior forward Dan DeLisle of the Eagles finally broke through with goal early in the third period which opened the gates for three for Totino-Grace tallies.  Senior goalie Tyler Olson chalked up the shutout.

Warroad had a big first period, outshooting Duluth Marshall 15-7, and notching a pair of goals from senior forward Dane Shaugabay and one from junior forward Brock Nelson for a 3-0 margin after one.  The rest of the game was fairly even with the Warriors holding the Hilltoppers on a power play tally in the second period.
