Benilde-St. Margaret's 3 Hill-Murray 2  OT

Hill-Murray controlled the first two periods and scored twice in the second period to lead 2-0 after two.  Benilde-St. Margaret's came back with a pair of goals in the third period to tie the contest when sophomore forward Pat Steinhauser tallied on a power play at 14:18.  In overtime, the Red Knights carried the play and got the game-winner from freshman forward Christian Horn, at 6:51.

For Benilde-St. Margaret's, Horn had 2 goals, 1 assist and Steinhauser had 1 goal, 2 assists.

Breck 1 Totino-Grace 1  OT (tie)

Senior defenseman Reid Herd of Breck netted a goal halfway through the first period; and, senior forward Dan DeLisle of Totino-Grace tallied halfway through the second period.  There was plenty of offensive action for both teams in the third period and overtime although neither team could score the deciding goal.

Burnsville 5 Wayata 4  OT
7-9-0            11-4-1
Burnsville led 2-1 after two periods before a rather wild third period.  Wayzata outshot the Blaze 19-7 in the period and managed to take a 4-3 lead after a goal from senior defenseman Dan Raquet at 10:32.  Burnsville struck back, at 13:26, with a tally from senior forward Zack King, to even the score, 4-4.  The Blaze picked up a penalty near the end of regulation which carried over into overtime; however, the Trojans could not score.  At 3:26, Wayzata was whistled for a penalty; and, on the power play, senior forward Zach May of the Blaze notched the game-winner.

For Burnsville, May and King each had 2 goals, 2 assists and senior forward Andy Pearson had 1 goal, 3 assists.
For Wayzata, senior forward Billy Soule and junior forward Danny Walsh each had 1 goal, 1 assist and senior forward Kevin Blackley had 2 assists.

Eden Prairie 2 Eagan 0

Sophomore defenseman Dan Molenaar provided the scoring with a goal in each of the first two periods while sophomore goalie Andrew Ford kept Eagan off the scoreboard.
Eagan outshot Eden Prairie 31-30.
For Eden Prairie, Molenaar had 2 goals and senior forward Taylor Wolfe had 2 assists.

St. Thomas Academy 5 Rochester Lourdes 2  2eng

After a scoreless first period, St. Thomas Academy outscored Rochester Lourdes 2-1 in the second.  At 5:33 of the third period, the Cadets took a 3-1 advantage when sophomore forward AJ Reid logged a power play.  Senior forward Taylor Funk of the Eagles cut the margin to 3-2 with a tally at 9:05.  The game stayed 3-2 until Rochester Lourdes pulled their goalie with about 1:30 remaining.  At 15:49, St. Thomas Academy found the empty net and added another open net goal in the final minute.

Thief River Falls 3 Moorhead 1

The teams exchanged goals in the first period.  Moorhead controlled the second and third periods; however, junior goalie Zane Gotherberg of Thief River Falls played well and the Prowlers got a 2-1 edge when senior forward Jesse Castle scored on a power play only :14 into the third period.  Senior forward Lucas Dillon added an insurance tally midway through the third.
Moorhead outshot Thief River Falls 37-28.
For Thief River Falls, senior forward Tyler Aandal had 1 goal, 1 assist and senior forward Kent Peterson had 2 assists.
For Moorhead, senior forward Alex Altenbernd had 1 goal.
