Benilde-St. Margaret's came back with a pair of goals in the third period to tie the contest when sophomore forward Pat Steinhauser tallied on a power play at 14:18. In overtime, the Red Knights carried the play and got the game-winner from freshman forward Christian Horn, at 6:51. Hill-Murray outshot Benilde-St. Margaret's 39-37. Wayzata outshot the Blaze 19-7 in the period and managed to take a 4-3 lead after a goal from senior defenseman Dan Raquet at 10:32. Burnsville struck back, at 13:26, with a tally from senior forward Zack King, to even the score, 4-4. The Blaze picked up a penalty near the end of regulation which carried over into overtime; however, the Trojans could not score. At 3:26, Wayzata was whistled for a penalty; and, on the power play, senior forward Zach May of the Blaze notched the game-winner. Wayzata outshot Burnsville 42-26. For Burnsville, May and King each had 2 goals, 2 assists and senior forward Andy Pearson had 1 goal, 3 assists. St. Thomas Academy 5 Rochester Lourdes 2 2eng 11-3-1 9-4-0 After a scoreless first period, St. Thomas Academy outscored Rochester Lourdes 2-1 in the second. At 5:33 of the third period, the Cadets took a 3-1 advantage when sophomore forward AJ Reid logged a power play. Senior forward Taylor Funk of the Eagles cut the margin to 3-2 with a tally at 9:05. The game stayed 3-2 until Rochester Lourdes pulled their goalie with about 1:30 remaining. At 15:49, St. Thomas Academy found the empty net and added another open net goal in the final minute.
