Minnetonka came back :27 later with a goal from junior defenseman Andrew Prochno, at 4:56; however, the Hornets responded :40 later when senior forward Marshall Everson scored, at 5:36. Shots were even 25-25. For Edina, Everson had 2 goals, 1 assist and senior forward Anders Lee had 1 goal, 1 assist. For Minnetonka, Prochno had 2 goals. Consolation Semifinals Centennial 6 St. Thomas Academy 3 eng 8-1-1 6-3-0 Centennial socred two goals in each period and led 4-0 late in the second. Centennial outshot St. Thomas Academy 39-31. For Centennial, senior forwards Tyler Pitlick and Willie Hess, and junior forward Jordan Lovick each had 1 goal, 1 assist. For St. Thomas Academy, junior forward Justin Crandall had 2 goals. Goalies: Centennial - sophomore Brett Larsen, St. Thomas Academy - sophomore Matt McNeely (first two periods) and junior Kurt Altrichter. Hill-Murray 7 Moorhead 0 8-1-0 5-3-1 Senior forward Isaac Kohls of Hill-Murray scored only :20 into the game, added a second goal at 2:44, and completed a pure hat trick with a third goal at 4:21. Kohls tallied again in the final minute of the period as the Pioneers jumped out to a 4-0 lead after one period. Sophomore goalie Tim Shaughnessy of Hill-Murray notched the shutout. The Pioneers outshot Moorhead 37-21. For Hill-Murray, Kohls had 4 goals, senior forward Nick Widing had 1 goal, 2 assists, and sophomore forward Ben Bahe had 3 assists.
