Edina Holiday Classic

Eden Prairie dominated the game, outshooting Grand Rapids 46-25.  The Eagles scored a pair of goals in both of the first two periods.
For Eden Prairie, sophomore forward Kyle Rau had 2 goals and senior forward Nick Leddy had 2 assists.
Goalies:  Eden Prairie - sophomore Andrew Ford, Grand Rapids - senior AJ Underwood.

Edina 3 Elk River/Zimmerman 1

Edina carried the play; however, Elk River/Zimmerman scored the only goal of the first period and held that 1-0 edge through two.  The Hornets outshot the Elks 12-7 in the third period and tied the game, 1-1, on a tally from senior forward Marshall Everson, at 4:04.  Everson scored again, at 6:55, and senior forward Connor Gaarder added a shorthanded marker, at 11:26, for the two-goal victory.
Edina outshot Elk River 33-17.
For Edina, Everson had 2 goals and senior forward Anders Lee had 2 assists.


Grand Forks Herald/Jason Stadstad Hockey Classic
Grafton/Park River ND 6 Roseau 3  eng

Roseau controlled the first two periods and held a 2-1 advantage.  Grafton/Park River dominated the third period with five goals and took charge when back-to-back tallies from junior forward Sam Tweten, at 9:06 and 10:25, gave the Spoilers a 4-3 lead.
For Roseau, senior defenseman Erik Mattson had 2 goals.

Blaine 6 Grand Forks Red River ND 3

Grand Forks Red River led 2-1 through two periods; but Blaine rallied for five goals in the third period to claim the victory.
Blaine outshot 41-27.
For Blaine, sophomore forward Nick Bjugstad had 1 goal, 4 assists.

Bloomington Jefferson 8 Grand Forks Central ND 0

Bloomington Jefferson netted four goals in both the first and second periods.  Senior Casey O'Connor notched the shutout.
The Jaguars outshot Grand Forks Central 37-19.
For Bloomington Jefferson, senior forward TJ Gallus had 2 goals, 2 assists, junior forward Zach Knight had 2 goals, 1 assist and junior defenseman Jeff Pauluk had 1 goal, 2 assists.


Little Falls 9 Sauk Rapids-Rice 3

Little Falls tallied four goals in each of the first two periods.
The Flyers outshot Sauk Rapids-Rice 36-18.
For Little Falls, senior forward Ben Hanowski had 4 goals, 3 assists, senior defenseman Izaak Berglund had 5 assists, and senior forward Ben Nelson had 3 goals, 1 assist.
For Sauk Rapids-Rice, senior forward Andy Henkemeyer had 3 goals.

Moorhead 8 Buffalo 0
Moorhead scored five goals in the second period.
Moorhead outshot Buffalo 37-10.
For Moorhead, senior forward Alex Altenbernd had 3 goals 1 assist, senior forward Jordan Doschadis had 1 goal, 3 assists, and senior defenseman Ian Cochran had 3 assists.
