Duluth East scored a goal in the first period while Centennial netted a tally in the second period.  In the third period, senior forward Tyler Pitlick of the Cougars logged his second goal of the game, at 11:01, giving Centennial a 2-1 edge.  A little over two minutes later, senior forward Joe Nelson of the Greyhounds retied the contest, 2-2, with a goal at 13:36.  The Cougars outshot Duluth East 6-2 in overtime but neither team could score.

At 9:24 of the third period, junior forward Matt Nahan of Sartell-St. Stephen scored to tie the game, 2-2; however, senior forward Ben Hanowski of Little Falls came back with a tally at 10:01 as the Flyers regained the lead.  Two mintues later, the Sabres responded with a goal from sophomore forward Andrew Deters, at 13:07, and the teams were knotted again, 3-3.  Little Falls still had enough time as senior forward Ben Nelson found the net, at 15:44, giving the Flyers their 4-3 victory.

Moorhead overpowered Roseau with four goals in the first period.  Junior Logan Marks notched the shutout.
