Kenshirō's adoptive father, the 63rd successor of Hokuto Shin Ken. Ryūken learned Hokuto Shin Ken from the 61st successor, his father Kasumi Tesshin. He later fought with with Kōryū
for successorship. Ryūken became successor and he later adopted Raō ,
Toki , Jagi , and Kenshirō . He named
Kenshirō after his older brother, Kenshirō Kasumi , because they both had a Big Dipper-shaped
birthmark. After choosing Kenshirō as the next successor he was killed by Raō.
