The first and deadliest "Hokuto Ryuu Ken" Rashou, Kaiou is Raou, Toki, and Sayaka's older brother.  He is a descendant of Ryuuou, the Hokuto Ryuu Ken founder.  Kaiou carries a burning hatred for Kenshirou; his mother died saving the baby Ken's life many years earlier.  Completely consumed by the evil of Hokuto Ryuu Ken, Kaiou killed his own sister Sayaka in order to turn Hyou against Kenshirou.  Later he wanted to impregnate Rin with his child because of her Royal bloodline.  Extremely powerful; the invincible Hokuto Shin Ken Musotensei did not even stop him.  His armor is designed to keep his "Matouki" eminations intact.  He finally destroys himself with molten lava after losing to Kenshirou.
