| This game is set in a world where the destiny of humans is controlled by Gods. 3 groups of Warriors exist that guard the planet at the service of a Triumvirate of the Goddesses. These are the Paladins, servants of Mirasil of Kindness, Glensethiol of Nature, and the Wardens, followers of Mordaien of Life. Through the passage of Ages and Millenia, these Orders have fulfilled their mission, watching over World to defend it when the fated moment comes and the Ancient Gods awake to conquer and enslave mankind once again... One day, this languid wait suddenly halted when the Priests of Adrianus, the Ancient God of Annihilation, were granted a vision of the resurrection of their great Lord. New armies were aroused to combat the defenders of the Triumvirate Goddesses, under the name of the League if the Black Faith. Just as this happened, all contact with the Goddess Glensethiol was lost, and the Rangers were left to fend the Army of the Leviathan's Throne, a group of fanatic soldiers from the Black Faith, only by themselves. In a matter of weeks, the Ranger's capital city of Irvalah was overrun and destroyed, and the Order was lost forever. The Paladins called their brothers-in-arms, the wardens, to protect the world from the disaster that was about to ensue...However, they didn't respond. Their only answer was that the Goddess Mordainen wished not for them to enter this war, and they enclosed themselves in the secrecy of their underground cities. The Paladins have been left alone to fend off the invasion of the Black Faith, and in their agonizing efforts, a War has started that is ripping the whole world apart. It is in this scenario that a girl, known as Orsala, will appear to bring to life the legacy of the Rangers that had been thought to be lost. But it is now 15 years since the war has started. Is she too late to prevent the conquest of this World by the Ancient Gods? |
