DECISIONS OF THE GUILD SINCE ITS ESTABLISHMENT - February 2006

2/22/06     We do want elected officers. Secretary appointed with general consent.
               We will have dues so letters can me mailed to those without internet access. $5/yr. + $1/meeting
               Time span wide- up to 1950

3/28/06     Guild year runs February to February.
                Officers elected. Facilitator elected, Treasurer appointed with general consent.
                 Food Files established. Facilitator bring to each meeting.
                 Meet 1x/mo. Day meetings off season. Evening meetings in season.
                 Dues $5/yr. + $1/meeting, no prorating for late joining
                 Name: �Food History Guild�
                 Purpose: �Exploring and understanding the history of all aspects of food�
                 We will wait in Constitution and By Laws

4/24/06      Name changed to: �Genesee Valley Food History Guild�

10/30/06     Secretary to maintain a member email list to keep members informed of various meetings,                    minutes, etc. Marie will help.

11/20/06     Marie volunteered to build a club website

1/22/07      We will have soup at meetings during cold weather, brought by volunteers
                 No access to research files, field trips, etc. for non-paid members
                 Meetings will be open to the public for the time being
                 Guild library established; Marie as Librarian.
                 Guild members may purchase a book up to $5 and be reimbursed; any book over $5 must be                    approved by vote at a meeting
                  Last Monday of the month will be our regular meeting day
                  11:00 am meeting time established
                  Officers elections will be held in February
                  Same officers will be kept in place (2 year term lengths decided on but struck down by                            amendment) with (AMENDMENT) no term lengths for now.

2/26/07       Guild will purchase a subscription to FHN to be passed through members
                  Website is up and running
                  We will have tote bags and aprons printed up for the guild

3/26/07        Meeting time is changed to 12:00 (noon)
                   Natural color canvas bag with black logo and 30" adjustable apron is decided

4/30/07        NO MINUTES - Constitution proposal read? Dorothy Welch appointed �Sergeant at Arms�?                   Program committee appointed? Nancy, Gwen...???

10/29/07      Tote bags to be sold at $8 each
                  Minutes will be posted on our website
                  We will skip the November and December �07 meetings.
