| I call this first sketch 'Ranger's Inspiration'. The story here is that while thinking through some serious crimefighting matters, from time to time even The Lone Ranger needs to take a few moments to do some soul searching in solitude. 'Ranger's Inspiration' depicts just one of those moments, when a weary and perhaps prayerful John Reid is temporarily immersed in a heavenly light. |
| Now, they are also united forever, in a special place in the hearts of mankind. A grand form of final justice, a true part of each other. The story doesn't end here, rather it is a new beginning, as an American crimefighting family legacy is carried forward. It is now the proper time and place for legends to meet. |
| Without The Lone Ranger, there would not be a Green Hornet. They are part of each other, part of The United States of America. They are part of you and of me. From the early days of the old west, to the present day and into the future, the saying in this case has become the reality: the beating heart of a fighter for justice truly does live forever. |

| So it came to be that the legends met, and thereafter, every year on that special day they will remember each other and briefly they will meet again. A bond of love and justice so strong has overcome the final boundary: time. The story doesn't end here. Instead, it closes for now, to return again next year, when at the proper time and place, the Reid family legacy lives again during the time we call 'Lone Ranger/ Green Hornet Week' and at a very special place called the 'Lone Ranger/ Green Hornet Time Bridge'. |
| No epic event would be worthwhile without a main attraction. The reason for coming together is to witness, acknowledge and appreciate this special family whose incredible legends have given us all so much.
