| For me, one of the most consistently entertaining and educating was the old-time fishing scribe Matt Ahern, writing in The Fisherman magazine. I would wait all week for Thursday, when I could pick up my copy of The Fisherman on the way to work. Week by week, the compiled stories of Matt was an important building block for many avid fishermen, adding to their own journey a sense of something older, wiser and always on your side. |
