'I believe', Darwin begins, 'That is the city we are searching for.'
You look up. You've spent hours walking toward this city, the sparse
vegetation nearby and the High Barrier to your right providing little
change in scenery. Your eyes ache - you're glad for anything to
provide a break in the monotony. What you see, however, is not
what you were hoping for...
The city of Obern is in flames.
'The temple!' Shila exclaims, running ahead of the group. Darwin
starts running after her, and you start running after him. Within a few
short moments, you've arrived at the outskirts of the town. Three men,
draped in dark cloaks are standing quietly at the edge of the town.
Shila rushes past them, but Darwin moves toward them, and he doesn't
appear happy in the least.
