Road to Obern

   You awake the next morning, getting up. Shila is still awake from her watch the night before. She is smiling and seems more refreshed than you feel.
   'Good morning Spencer.' She says cheerily. You look around, spotting Darwin standing some distance from your campsite, out of earshot.
   Turning to Shila, you ask the question that had troubled you before you went to sleep last night. 'So, did our 'guest' behave himself?'
   Shila gives you a playful disapproving look. 'Of course he did, you're still here, aren't you? After you went to sleep, he talked to me. He really does have a very interesting story. You should ask it of him sometime. He isn't the horrible monster that you make him out to be, you know.' She walks away, toward Darwin, leaving you to take care of the camp yourself. It only takes you a few minutes, and then the three of you are off journeying again.
   Three hours into your hiking, you remember Shila's earlier admonition. Glancing toward Darwin, you wonder if maybe she was right... Briefly, you consider your options.

Ask Darwin his story	Shila said it was worth hearing, and you trust her judment... besides, you've got a long way to go, you might as well get distracted for a while.
Keep going	You don't doubt that Shila is correct as to the quality of Darwin's story, you just don't want to let your guard down around him.
