37. Anne MacLeod

Anne MacLeod b.late 1790's in Uig,Lewis m.1817 Stornoway d.c.1875 in Stornoway.
After her husband died she ran the croft at 3 Guershader until she passed it on to Christina and her husband, Duncan MacLeod. In 1876 Duncan and Christina moved to 4 New Valley then in 1883 to Duncan's brother's croft at 2, Branahuie. Malcolm then inherited 4, New Valley from them and passed it on to his sons, Allan and Donald. All addresses mentioned are in the same area on the nothern outskirts of Stornoway town.
In the 1851 Census Anne was a widow and tenant of Croft 3, Guershader, Stornoway.
