DSA is solidly based in architectural theory and research. Both partners teach, lecture and publish widely throughout the world. DSA are able to research the history of a site and the buildings on it in great depth in order to assist in the process of obtaining statutory permissions.
History
Research undertaken on building or regeneration projects can help the community and the statutory authorities to understand the historic development of the site and put it into better context for future development.
Conservation
Technical and structural research can also be carried out so that methods of conservation and repair can be carefully tailored to the existing fabric of the building.
Dissemination
DSA are also able to assist organisations to raise their public profile with researched publications, conferences and seminars. |
