Eco-homes, Flitwick, Bedfordshire
DSA are designing homes for the future in Flitwick, Bedfordshire. These units are designed for maximum flexibility. Care Homes: Aldershot, Guilford, Bedfordshire
DSA have worked on a number of care home projects. Input ranges from obtaining planning permission on difficult sites, altering layouts to obtain statutory certificates of compliance, to general advice on reducing running and maintenance costs. This is done by looking at the use of space as well as proposing suitable easy to clean and maintain materials and energy efficient measures.
At Aldershot DSA produced designs, which rationalised the use of space in an existing home as well as developing proposals for a substantial extension. Car parking was sited so that the noise of cars would not disturb residents. External spaces were landscaped so that they were an integral part of the internal rooms so that residents could wander safely both inside and outside.
