Dennis Hartmann`s Rendition of, How the Internet came to be !

Introduction Of Topic

This Page was wrote about the history and timeline of the Internet and how it came to be. I tried to mention every thing I could think of from this class (CIS164-IN2 Internet Essentials). I`m shure there is alot I missed or forgot about, but there is just so much information on this subject on the Internet, that I just could not add any more information, and keep this Page as small as I did. Although Windows or DOS was not mentioned in the Interesting Facts section, here is a Link to a PDF file that is pretty interesting about Windows and DOS, it`s like a schematic timeline, if you don`t have a PDF reader click the link at the end of this sentence to download a free copy of Acrobat reader from Adobe.com .

Summary

Well I think it all worked out pretty good, had alot more information I could have put in here but did not want to get to long of a page to view. The Page has lots of links on it, probably took a while to view the content of the Page, hopefully you found the links and history as interesting as I did. I know that the Page is pretty long but when I got started on it I just could not stop, before I realized it the Page was what it is know. I am still viewing more of the links that I did not include in the Page after two weeks of working on it. The animated mailbox at the bottom of the Page is from the student downloads at the school web site , and the flags I already had. I tried to include everything that the assignment required hopefully I did that. Here is a link to Inernet2 check it out it is pretty interesting. I`m going to keep building on this Webpage and try to add atleast all of the information that I have know and hopefully publish it some day soon, I did a lot of research for this Page and I didn`t really know what to expected when I started on it, but, I think I like it, Hope you all do to. It seems, The more we learn the more we know, the more we know the faster we go, the faster we go the more we learn. Is this the end of the Internet or just the begining of the next one, I`ve been online for 10 years, it`s grown alot, I cant begin to imagen what the next 10 years will bring for us and the Internet.
