The case is made of paudauk, an african hardwook. Paudauk is almost orange when first cuts and then mellows to a rich red.
This piece is finished with an oil based polyurethane.

| I made this flag case for my best frfiend who passed away in May 2003. The case is made of paudauk, an african hardwook. Paudauk is almost orange when first cuts and then mellows to a rich red. This piece is finished with an oil based polyurethane. |

| The case is made using spline joints and a glued face frame. The back is l1/4 luan plywood and it is finished out with a piece of 1/8" lexan. | ||||||||||||||
