Step 4: Presentation |
|
You’ve researched your topic, you’ve organized your information, you’ve created a slideshow, and now.... You’re ready for your big presentation! Before your big day, consider the following tips: · You don’t have to memorize your presentation (that’s why you have a script). However, make sure you know your information well enough, so that you can talk about it coherently, instead of just reading from your script. · Remember that your slideshow is only a visual aid, not the entire presentation. The easiest way to lose points for the oral part of your presentation is by only reading the text from your slides and failing to add any additional, detailed information. · Relax! Giving a speech in front of your peers is nerve-wracking. I understand. So rest assured, you will only lose points for being unprepared, not for being nervous. Of course, the more prepared you are, the less nervous you will be! Are you ready then? Good luck! |
