(9) JR. HENRY4 ADAMS (Henry3, Jesse2, Henry1) was born about 1821 in Smith County, TN and died in Ballard County, KY. He married LUCY A. NOLEN November 14, 1841 in Benton County, TN. Lucy was born about 1828 in TN, and died after 1852.
Notes for HENRY ADAMS: Henry Jr. initially owned the Obion Creek land [1850 tax record & 1850C] but in 1852 Henry Sr. owned the land and juniors widow was taxed for two (2) cows. Except for Henry Jr. the 1850 census taker just showed initials for the four ADAMS households. "G" [Gillam] ADAMS [Henry Sr. younger brother] was listed between "H" [Sr.] and Henry [Jr.] tax list confirms the "junior - senior relationship".
Notes for LUCY A. NOLEN: Marriage record and 1850C just gave her initials but 1852 tax list shows her as "LUCY A. ADAMS" on the line below Henry Sr. and Brian. Lucy just appeared on tax records that one year and we don't find her on the 1860C so most likely she either remarried or moved away.
