14.  HETTIE BELLE⁶ ADAMS  (JESSE THOMAS⁵, BRIANT (BRYAN)⁴, HENRY³, JESSE², HENRY¹) was born November 24, 1876 in Bardwell, KY, and died March 17, 1949 in St. Louis, MO.  She married MONROE GRANT SANDERS 1890.  He was born in TN, and died August 22, 1947 in Farmington, MO.  

Notes for HETTIE BELLE ADAMS:   Hettie was  listed as widowed & living in Reyno, AR in 1915. Actually Monroe didn't die until decades later but he may have been hospitalized that early or the property record may have been in error.

She died of tuberculosis @ Koch Hospital (Julia Adams didn't recall just when)  Mindie John son (Hettie's G-Granddaughter (Minnie Lee Sanders - Norma Jean Sanders Dunn - Mindy Dunn Johnson) identified a picture I thought was of Hettie as taken at Koch and also supplied precise dates and other family information/ photos.

Notes for MONROE GRANT SANDERS:  Property transactions 1915-22 show Hettie as a widow but Monroe had a heat stroke and was hospitalized at Farmington SH.  Julia ADAMS recalled him showing up unexpectedly at a family reunion during the 1930s. After 6 helpings Tora ADAMS had to convince him to stop eating before he got sick.
