Divided On Monday /Together On Tuesday
Remembering 9/11 Victims

On Monday there were people fighting against prayer in schools.
On Tuesday they were praying, because of an act all so cruel.

On Monday there were people trying to separate each other by status, race, sex, creed and color.
On Tuesday they were all holding hands and feeling discolor.

On Monday we were talking about heroes and athletes.
On Tuesday we relearned what heroism really meant and became quiet and meek.

On Monday people went to work at the world trade centers and looked forward to going back home.
On Tuesday they died leaving their love ones all alone.

On Monday people picked up fast food to go.
On Tuesday they thanked God they had a familyyet some didnt even no.

On Monday people were upset that their dry cleaning was not ready on time.
On Tuesday they were lining up to give blood as a result of organized crime

On Monday politicians argued about budget surpluses.
On Tuesday they were grief stricken and abolished their fusses.

On Monday we worried about the traffic and getting to work late.
On Tuesday we worried if a plane crashed into our houses while trying to cultivate.

On Monday we were being selfish an irritated that our rebate checks had not arrived.
On Tuesday we were donating charitable items and money to victims for them to survive.

On Monday some children had Mothers and Fathers.
On Tuesday they were orphans not knowing who wanted to be bothered.

On Monday the president was going to Florida to read to children.
On Tuesday he returned to Washington in-search of who killed them.

On Monday night we watched the football game.
On Tuesday we saw people in other countries celebrating the death of thousands in the USA showing know remorse or shame.

On Monday we told jokes.
On Tuesday we expressed condolences and prayers holding desperately to hope.

It is sadly ironic how it takes horrific events to place things into perspective but it has caused us to look at life more introspective.
