Relief for Survivors of Earthquake

in Yogyakarta and Central Java, Indonesia

GBI Generasi Baru, Yogyakarta

A powerful earthquake flattened nearly all the buildings in rice-farming town of Bantul, Yogyakarta, and Klaten, Central Java, while residents slept, killing more than 5,000 people on Indonesia's densely populated Java island. The magnitude-6.3 quake wounded thousands more and was the nation's worst disaster since the 2004 tsunami.

GBI Generasi Baru, Yogyakarta, sent relief team to assist the survivors. We distributed foods, tents, medical supplies, etc. If you would like to help, you could send your aids through us.
