This proof-of-concept demonstration should (theoretically) work in almost all browsers, but I've only tested it with IE 6.0 under Win2K Pro and WinXP Pro, and Mozilla Firefox 1.0 under Knoppix 4.0. This is test number two, with slightly prettier tiles and more of them. I'm doing stupid things like sorting an array in my main game loop, but I figure that there'll be at least that much overhead from ordinary game engine stuff, plus I'm too lazy to implement it properly if it might not go any further. The P3-733 is groaning under the strain, but the P4 in the corner might like it better...

Actually a P4-266 with 512Mb absolutely eats it up compared to this compy. But something that's really puzzling me is that on the P3-733, the test runs as slow as a snail on valium, but when I look at it on GeoCities -- on the same computer -- it runs two or three times faster!

Use the J and L keys to turn the tiles left and right.
