Salem loves to roll on his back and wave his feet in the air. He  moves from side to side on his back and  then slowly drags himself forward.

             Salem went for his  midnight trysts with crime, to capture enemy territory. Once he crossed the path of  the alpha male cat of the neighborhood. The alpha male was called 'Big Head' because of his giant  football head . Salem came back 4 days later with a broken hip dragging himself to our door. Salem was his tough old self 6 months later, though he walked with a limp and a cane. He was glad we did not euthanize him. Still, he never learned not to challenge animals bigger than him.

            Salem is a very good hunter. He catches bees, lizards, pigeons and other birds. A couple of weeks back he caught a rabbit. At first I had no clue where he could have found one, as we live in the heart of the city`, but I had a sneaking suspicion when I heard the kid next door yowling that  'Bugsy' was missing.

            Salem can open the refrigerator door with his paws. Once he climbed into the fridge and emptied a bowl of fish.

            I like to paint Salem's claws with nailpolish. This is something I'll never dare try on Schtynky as she'll scratch the skin off my hand. Salem just sits patiently and doesn't  mind. He looks really cute.

           Salem went on one of his hunting expeditions and never returned home from the 25th of October. He vanished without a trace. The word is,  he had been attacked by a group of  dogs, avenging the killing of Mr.Bugsy Rabbit.
