Terranova.
DJ-Kicks. 1998.
A cool, mildly leftfield laid back largely instrumental hip hop mix. Quite good.
Close the Door. 1999.
A varied effort for a debut, featuring Tricky amongst a handful of guests on vocals. Had a semi-hit with the laid back Portishead-lite tune "Chase the Blues". Nothing extraordinary.
Hitchhiking Nonstop With No Particular Destination. 2002.
As the title suggests, they go wandering and end up with an exciting album that moves away from the trip-hop sounds towards breaks with edge. Like a trippier version of Freeland's Now and Them.
Peace is Tough. 2003.
A quick followup to the last album, a companion piece that travels along similar grounds. One would think that's a detriment seeing as the last album was praised for breaking new ground, but this album is just as essential, sounds just as fresh and is definitely not just last night's dinner reheated.
Digital Tenderness. 2004.
A sidestep. With a new singer fronting on all of their songs instead of the previous m.o. of getting a variety of singers. And also musically a bit of a stumble, seeming to revert to sounds already covered by the likes of Goldfrapp and themselves in the past.
