She wins the all around at nationals
Denisse confirms the predictions
THE MEXICALI GYMNAST CONFIRMS HER status as the best gymnast in Mexico.
(PH) M�RIDA, Yuc. Denisse L�pez Sing confirmed her status of the best Mexican gymnast by winning the Gymnastics National Championships celebrated in this city.
The Mexicali gymnast accumulated a score of 35.049 points to take the all-around.
Second place corresponded to Laura del Carmen Moreno, from Nuevo Le�n, and in third was Brenda Maga�a, from Jalisco.
Denisse dominated the events of balance beam with 8.750, floor with 8.675 and her especiality, vault, with 9.462.
In this event also Yeny Ibarra from Baja California participated, finishing in the fourth position.
At the end of the championships, L�pez Sing ratified that her following competitions will be the World Universiade to be celebrated in China, and the World Championships in Belgium.
