CSD GmbH was a pioneer in development of solutions for integration and maintenance of large computer networks (LAN/WAN), at the dawn of the diffusion of TCP/IP and Internet network solutions for larger German accounts:
Software distribution to workstations connected to UNIX-V servers via TCP/IP and IPX/SPX networks (operating systems of the workstations: Windows 95/NT, Windows 3.1/3.11), configuration monitoring of distributed workstations.

• Integration of the Object modeling and design method OMT (J. Rumbaugh) into the quality insurance methods as described by Carnegie-Mellon University’s „CMM" („Capability Maturity Model"),

• Complete realization of analysis and design projects with the OMT-Method (J. Rumbaugh) for Medizintechnik - Paderborn and Erlangen (Germany),

• Publication of internal company research results concerning object orientation,

• Organization of high-level seminars on the OO-theme. The developers of the most famous OO-methods for modeling and design (J. Rumbaugh, Ivar Jacobson, Ed. Yourdon) were invited to participate or to present their activities during these seminars.
