| Project Profile: The students will follow the Tundra Swans as they migrate from Alaska to California. Objectives: Students will learn about the Tundra Swan, map the migration path, investigate the habitat needs of the swan, and talk to scientists about migration behavior and needs. Standards: 1SC-E1, PO1, PO2, PO3, PO4. Classroom Management: Students will work in 4 groups of 6 in the jigsaw format. Technology Management: I have 4 computers in my classroom with internet access. Time Management: Students will work in 30 minute blocks on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for 3 weeks. |
