We have not written anything yet at Stony Point but I thought you would like to know what we are up to.
In 5th grade, we have been solving a Mystery at the Mall.
This required students to solve Logic Puzzles to gather the clues and then look at witness statements and a map to decide who was guilty. We discussed having to follow logic to come to this conclusion and looked at who had alibis.
In 4th grade, we have been looking at problem solving and accelerating our division skills. We have divided 3 and 4 digit numbers by 2 digit numbers and will try to division by a 3 digit number soon.
