Muddled Mystery Tour Mr. and Mrs. William Farmer, of Margate, England, travelled to Wales in 1971 to spend a summer holiday there. Thinking that the best way to see this new and glorious countryside, they immediately signed up for a British Rail 'Mystery Tour' which took them straight back to Margate.
"We nearly fell through the platform," said Mr. Farmer. "We were expecting the Welsh mountains."
Declining a tour of the town, the Farmers popped home for a cuppa before catching the train back to Wales.
