Denim And Leather - Too Damn Loud
If I'm not mistaken Denim & Leather is the first band I've been contact with from exotic Brazil. So another barrier brakes for this webzine! Let's get back to the music. Well as you might understood form the bands name the guys aren't actually playing melodic Death or Extreme Progressive Keyboard Driven Operatic Sleaze music. And if you haven't understood that... well you suck!!!
Denim And Leather as their name reveals is are addicted to the new wave of British Heavy metal Era. And I'm amazed that there are still bands out there playing this old fashioned metal. Good for them, since they seem to like what they are doing so its fine by me.
"Too Damn Loud" contain four tunes of classic heavy metal. As a bonus you get a fragment of their previous work "We Wear..." (2000), to be more precise you get three more songs. The production in both demos lucks clarity, especially in "We Wear" that is probably recorded on tape and passed on CD later. But I don't really mind...
(...) if you are into this kind of music there's nothing wrong to check them out, they deserve it!
