Confessions of a Sock Addict
The confessions of a sock addict hoping to find other addicts to support her in her highly addicting habit.
Rejoice
Hear that? That is the sound of silence!

My home is mine again!

There is peace and quiet!

The cats are no longer whining from their cubby holes!

I can knit in my own living room again without having my ears talked off!

Hell, I can knit al natural again if I want! (I don’t do it often but I like to know I can if I want to).

I can sit around listening to knitting podcasts without being interrupted every 5 minutes for a 20 minute spiel on what it took to fix the doorbell! (I still don’t care about the doorbell.)

Dinner can be made for one person without comments about how FIL had the best (insert what we are eating for dinner) at such-and-such place 5-10-15 years ago but they are no longer in business!

There will no longer be the endless questions of, “Why do you back the 4Runner into the garage but not the Honda? “Why do you do that way?” “Why do you do it this way?”

There will no longer be the endless comments about everything, “Get a little crazy driving?” “You really should mow your lawn this way.” “You really should rearrange your kitchen this way.” “You should place your fans this way to cool the house.”

To celebrate, I will be knitting on the neverending shawl in my living room with knitting podcasts blaring on the iHome with my cats happily curled up around me. It’s more than enough to make me happy.

Perhaps I’ll finally have the shawl done, but I doubt it.
