1360: Year of the Turret
      Mirtul: The adventuring group known as The Heroes of Peldan�s Helm is formed.

1361: Year of the Maidens
      Tarsahk: The Heroes of Peldan�s Helm begin their campaign against the Zhentarim.
      Mirtul: Chubble Stubbs builds the first shrine to Lunch.

1368: The Year of the Banner
      The Zhentilar forces in Y�lash has been cut back and Maalthiir, ruler of Hillsfar proclaim the city under Hillsfarian control.
      Much of Zhentil Keep is destroyed because of the mad god Cyric.
      The Font of Knowledge (temple of Oghma) finishes construction in Waterdeep. Zhentarim-sponsored adventurers kill Elrem, shaman leader of the Great Worm Uthgardt tribe, stealing much of his treasure.
      The Blue Bear Uthgardt tribe - led by the Annis Tanta Hagara - conquers the fiend-ridden fortress Hellgate Keep and Tanta Hagara becomes new ruler of keep.
      Cyric leads a former Purple Dragon named Gwydion into a fatal trap and has Gond convert Gwydion into a magic-immune, half mechanical inquisitor. Cyric's inquisition spreads from Zhentil Keep to the Citadel of the Raven, Yulash, Darkhold and Tesh.
      On the plane of Pandemonium Cyric kills the goddess of Illusion Leira and takes over her portfolio. Kelemvor deposes Cyric as Lord of the Dead.
      Cyric unleashes Kezef, the Chaos Hound. The god Mask recaptures the Chaos Hound.
      The body of Lord Chess is found dead atop Blackstaff Tower in Waterdeep.
      Cyric has the Cyrinishad completed. Both he and the god Mask read it, and it causes both to go mad.
      The God Oghma conspires with Mask, Fzoul Chembryl and others to start an insurrection against Cyric's church in Zhentil Keep.
      Oghma, Mask and Mystra conspire to start a second insurrection against Cyric in the City of Strife. Mask discloses the Cyric's sword Godsbane is really his own avatar, und Godsbane has hidden the soul of Kelemsvor Lyonsbane for 10 years in the City of Strife.
      During the insurrection in the City of Strife, Gwydion unwittingly frees Kezef, the Chaos Hound again. Godsbane reveals herself to Cyric as a traitor and Cyric breaks the sword, destroying Mask's avatar and reducing Mask to a demi-power. Cyric assumes Mask's portfolio as God of Intrigue. The Chaos Hound begins chasing the weakened Mask. Masks's priests lose their spell powers.
      Kelemvor and Gwydion attack Cyric in Bone Castle and ban him from the Realm of the Dead. Kelemvor becomes the new major power of the dead and Cyric loses this portfolio.
      The god Torm restores Gwydion to life as his own 20th level Paladin. His mission is to find and protect Oghma's follower, Rinda, who penned the Cyrinishad, took it before the destruction of Zhentil Keep and is hiding it.
      White dragons, giants, ogres etc. in attack instigated by Cyric destroy all of Zhentil Keep north of the Tesh. Only the foreign quarter still stands.
      Bane's son - Iyachtu Xvim - rises as a demipower and then as a lesser power. Fzoul Chembryl founds Xvim's new church and leads it as High Tyrannar from an underground temple beneath Zhentil Keep. Cyric - now the major power of murder, strife, lies, intrigue, deception and illusion - retreats to his Shattered Castle on the Plane of Pandemonium.
      The elemental gods have drawn followings in Faerun: Akadi, Grumbar, Istishia, Kossuth and Shaundakul.
      Something begins driving the Trolls out of the Evermoors (Trollmoors).
      A merchant caravan returning from the High Elven town of Hightree was ambushed by an orc hunting party numbering between 30 and 40 members. According to a surviving passenger, the force of 24 guards that accompanied the caravan were able to inflict considerable damage against the orcs until a second sizable force of orc warriors arrived. The orc were able to steal a large portion of the shipment, kidnap two woman and one male guard, and a magical sword, surnamed Daybreaker, to be displayed at Timeless Treasures in the town of Nexus.
      The Storm, a group of adventurers that was once led by the founder of the town of Nexus, will be reformed by Tempest, Master of the Storm, Son of the Founder and Councilmember Ukea. At the time of this writing, Tempest said the purpose of the group was to gain experience through adventuring so that they could weather the upcoming storm that would sweep violently across the known lands of the realm.

1369: The Year of the Gauntlet
      The "Threat From the Sea" plagues the Sword Coast, resulting in attacks on Waterdeep, Baldur's Gate, Calimport, and other random ports on the Trackless Sea. Sahuagin raids on Inner Sea cities are limited to the latter half of the year, and are minor, with only Bezantur being as viciously harassed as the Sword Coast cities.
      Tanta Hagara sends raiding parties out of Hellgate Keep. Lady Alustriel and Mistmaster in the Citadel of the Mists attack the keep with heavy magic. Two Harpers on a suicide mission carry a piece of the Artifact "The Gatekeeper's Crystal" into the keep. The Mistmaster then uses the artifact to destroy the keep and its denizens.
      Turlong and his treants herd trees from High Forest to the ruins of the keep and to Hellgate Pass, blocking the pass and keeping Hellgate Keep from being used again.
      People in the Nesme area discover that a black dragon and fog and cloud giants are among the creatures driving the trolls from the Evermoors. Strangely, some giants are friendly, others hostile.
      The Harpell family completes the magic bridge over the River Surbrin at Nesme.
      The northern nation of dwarves and men with the new name Luruar is formed, comprised of Citadel Adbar, Citadel Felbarr, Deadsnows, Everlund, Jalanthar, Mithral Hall, Quaervarr, Silverymoon and Sundabar. Lady Alustriel steps down as ruler of Silverymoon after being elected leader of the new nation of dwarves and men. Taern "Thunderspell" Hornblade is the new ruler and High Mage of Silverymoon.
      Randal Morn and his riders retake Dagger Falls from the Zhents.
      For almost a year, trade between the Sword Coast and Maztica comes to a virtual standstill.
      Iyachtu Xvim rises as a demi-power and then a lesser power. Fzoul Chembryl founds Xvim's new church and leads it as High Tyrannar from an underground temple beneath Zhentil Keep.
      Khelben Blackstaff and Fzoul meet in secret in Voonlar, where Khelben provides information about Lord Orgauth of Zhentil Keep and Fzoul vows to limit Xvimlar activity to the east of the Thunder Peaks for the next 10,000 days.
      Fzoul and the beholder Manxam assault their rivals in Mulmaster. The High Imperceptor of Cyric is killed along with a number of faithful, and the long-hidden High Imperceptor of Bane is captured and brought back to the Keep for torture.
      Errilam Krimmevor, his father, uncle, and two cousins are imprisoned in the Cloister of St. Ramedar.
      The Storm Seige of Myratma. The Jhannivvar Pretender is killed, ending the war for Tethyr.
      The Interregnum Tribunals are convened in Mosstone at the Archdruid's Grove.
      The Loyal Order of Innocents is formed by the royal decree of Queen Zaranda of Tethyr at Harvestcourt.
      Seven ships of the Vemmil clan of Amn return from a mission to Zakhara, but four are attacked and looted by the Sea Reavers in late Eleint. The remainder arrive at Murann amid much ceremony. On Highharvestide, a huge, manlike juggernaut created from ship parts is Gated into the Sea of Swords at highsun and attacks the pirates' port of Skaug.
      Some Tethyrian exiles and former Amnian families return to Amn, accused of war crimes or continued malfeasance against the regime in Tethyr.
      Rakesk and the alhoon Ralayan the Ocultacle kidnap Halaster Blackcloak from his seat of power in Undermountain. Halaster's Highharvestide results in the destruction of the village of Geniste and other chaos across Faerun, until his rescue by a group of adventurers.
      Arcturia, one of Halaster's apprentices, is slain in Undermountain by giants in the Room of the Grim Statue.
      The arch-mage Shradin is shouted to death by the Skulls of Skullport.
      Drow expand into the Third Level of Undermountain.
      Piergeiron Paladinson destroys the dracolich Kistarianth the Red on the slopes of Mount Waterdeep during Halastar's Harvestide. The transformed red dragon was slain in life by Piergeiron's father, Athar the Shining Knight.
      During Halaster's Harvestide, a crimson death mist and a trio of vampiric mists enter the House of the Moon (Selune's temple in Waterdeep) through the Sojourner's Portal. The gate is re-directed into the Temple of Old Night in Calimport, but not before the vampiric mist escapes into the sewers.
      Duke Bhereu of Cormyr is killed during a hunting party by a poison-breathing automaton.
      An attempted assassination of King Azoun IV of Cormyr is foiled, and many treacherous nobles are exiled from Cormyr. Some disgraced members of House Bleth and House Cormaeril emigrate to Westgate, quickly establishing themselves as important members of Westgate's merchant nobility thanks to the disarray amongst the city's older houses stemming from the events of the year before. House Cormaeril claims the holdings of the Dhostar family, as a niece of the recently deceased family patriarch had married into that Cormyrean family. House Bleth begins constructing its own castle west of town, in keeping with the relatively recent construction of Castle Dhostar (renamed Castle Cormaeril) west of the city walls.
      Many fishing boats based along the Dragon Coast come under attack by devil rays, suggesting that something is stirring things up beneath the waves.
      Fire engulfs the Emerald Ward and Grand Ward of Calimport.
      The Ship of the Gods volcano in the Alambar erupts, and priests of Geb in the Golden Forge temple within fail to prevent the eruption but mitigate the damage to Mulhorand by venting lava across the sea bed. This causes a tidal wave that swamps the Alaor and Bezantur, and stirs up the sahuagin of the Alambar.
      Soon after the Ship of the Gods erupts, a great subsea explosion shakes rooftops in Airspur and Delthuntle, and the resulting waves cause some damage to their ports.
      Mulhorand invades and occupies the wrecked shipyards and ports of the Alaor.
      Vague reports begin to filter into ports around the Inner Sea of mass suicides by the inhabitants of the Whamite Isles. Ships sent to investigate fail to return.
      In Uktar, a great whirlpool pulls many ships in the Inner Sea down into the depths. This anomalous current destroys more than a third of the pirate fleets.
      The Hand of Bane is found and destroyed.
      The goddess Mielikki orders a radical reorganization of her priesthood.
      Demons from Hellgate keep assault Silverymoon, Sundabar and the Citadel of the Mists.
      Waterdeep is assailed from the depths of the harbor and surrounding sea by a host of sea creatures led by the monstrous wereshark Iakhovas which invades the City of Splendors. Waterdeep's defenders beat back the attack, but at the cost of many lives and much destruction in Dock and Sea Wards.
      Alustriel steps down as High Lady of Silverymoon appointing Taern "Thunderspell" Hornblade as High Mage of the city. Alustriel begins her efforts to form an alliance of northern settlements which is initially labelled Luruar.
      Halaster's Harvestide: The wizard Halaster is kidnapped for a time by the Twisted Rune and much of the North and the Realms endure great disruption as farflung portals go awry.
      The dwarves of Mirabar destroy the Kreeth goblin tribe in the Crags with the unlooked for aid of the crystal dragon Saryndalaghlothtor. They form the House of the Axe in alliance with this wyrm.
      Loudwater is assailed by a Malarite-led lycanthrope army which is beaten back with much loss and the death of the Green Regent Galaer Grasswave.

1370: The Year of the Tankard
      Waterdeep's Font of Knowledge (Oghma temple) and the New Olamn Bards College gain popularity.
      Treants and other forest creatures unite in the High Forest.
      Riatavin and Trailstone secede from Amn to Tethyr.
      Almost all humanoids inhabiting the western lowlands of Tethyr are driven out or killed.
      Queen Zaranda and King Haedrak III of Tethyr have triplets; Sybille, Coram, and Cyriana.
      By the Feast of the Moon, the new outer walls and High Palace of Silverymoon are completed.
      The 'Shaking Plague' strikes Scardale, destroying much of the Sembian garrison.
      War erupts in southern Amn as Sythillis and his armies ally with the church of Cyric, seeking Maztican gold.
      War erupts in Silver Marches as Obould Many-Arrows and his army of orcs, goblins and frost giants attacked Mithrall Hall. In the same time Proffit and his army of trolls attacked, conquested and destroyed Nesme.
      After more than a decade of isolation from her followers, the goddess Waukeen is freed from her prison by a band of adventurers and resumes her place in the heavens.
      Duggan McKnuckles, Bokkum and Stokkum are killed in an attack on their caravan by orcs and frost giants near the Spine of the World, on their way to Shallows.
      Lord of Zhentil Keep, Orgauth is slain by the fallen Paladin, Scyllua Darkhope as the final step to her becoming a Blackguard mere months after Orgauth himself caused her to fall.
      Dagna Waybeard, dwarven general from Mithrall Hall, was killed by trolls when he tried to protect refugees from destroyed Nesme.
      Dagnabbit, the son of dwarven general Dagna Waybeard, the lead military commander of Mithral Hall's armed forces, dead during the Battle of Shallows.
      The Knights of the Black Gauntlet of Mintar attack and capture the Tethyrian city of Kzelter.
      The Harpers discover Khelben's dealings with Fzoul. A Tribunal is called and, on Tarsakh 22, Khelben renounces his allegiance to the Harpers, turning in his pin. High-ranking ex-Harpers join Khelben, including Laeral Silverhand, Mintipur Moonsilver, and Myrmeen Lhal.
      Fzoul shatters the Scepter of the Sorcerer Kings in combat with the banelich Faram Khaldan, scattering its five pieces across the planes.
      Ninety per cent of the population of the Untheran city of Shussel vanish overnight in "the Vanishing". The city is taken by Mulhorandi military forces who will use its port as a supply and troop route in their war against Unther.
      The Manshoon Wars begin. Fzoul and Orgauth strike at Manshoon and Sememmon. Manshoon is killed and Sememmon flees to Darkhold, severing the gates that link it with Zhentil Keep. Several of Manshoon's clones activate, destroying each other and much of the Citadel of the Raven. Fzoul and Orgauth take control of the Citadel.
      A long-lost stasis clone of Manshoon awakens in the catacombs of Westgate as the Manshoon Wars begin. Prior to his awakening, this Manshoon clone had been abducted and drained by the Night King, a powerful vampire. As a vampire, the Manshoon clone hunts down and kills his creator, becoming the next Night King in turn. The Manshoon clone then sets about rebuilding the Night Masks to serve his ends, leading to rumors in Westgate that "the Faceless" has returned.
      Almost all humanoids inhabiting the western lowlands of Tethyr are driven out or killed.
      Queen Zaranda and King Haedrak III of Tethyr have triplets; Sybille, Coram, and Cyriana.
      The treants of Tall Trees led by Turlang the Thoughtful seal off Hellgate Keep from Silverymoon and begin reforesting the upper Delimbiyr.
      By the Feast of the Moon, the new outer walls and High Palace of Silverymoon are completed.
      The ogre magi-led forces of the Sythillisian Empire emerge from the Small Teeth. They attack eastern Amn, overrunning Imnescar and Trademeet, and reach all the way to the coast. The city of Murann is besieged by the humanoids.
      The Cult of the Dragon finally locates the shadowy dracolich known as the Dire Dragon. Though the Dire Dragon is not affiliated with the Cult in any way, the dracolich does allow the Cultists to leave after they gifted him with rather generous offerings.
      Numerous crypts and graves throughout Calimport are found desecrated or destroyed.
      The High Captains of Luskan arrive in Calimport for a month-long series of meetings (topics unknown) with the syl-pasha and his aides.
      Waukeen is freed from her imprisonment by the Abyssal Lord Graz'zt and is restored to the Faer�nian pantheon.
      The crystal dragon Saryndalaghlothtor "Lady Gemcloak" battles with and drives off an unknown red wyrm in the skies over Mirabar.
      In Unther, the the folk of Shussel mysteriously vanish, leaving the former fishing and mining city a ghost town.
      Trade between the sea folk of the Sea of Fallen Stars and ports along the Inner Sea increases sharply in the aftermath of the great undersea war. The merchants of Westgate quickly realize that the long-standing presence of koalinth tribes in the waters offshore put their city at a severe trading disadvantage in comparison with Starmantle.
      Marpenoth: Azuth declares the office of Magister vacant. On the twenty-fourth, the wizardess Talatha Vaerovree of Innarlith accepts the office.
      Mintar attacks and captures the Tethyrian city of Kzelter.
      The Sythillisian Empire attacks eastern Amn and reaches all the way to the coast. The city of Murann is besieged by the humanoids.
      The lich known as "Pox" and her dracolich steed Saurglyce arrive from parts north and settle in the hills around Yartar. The crystal dragon Saryndalaghlothtor destroys an unknown red dragon that emerges from a great, fiery portal above the rooftops of Mirabar.
      Gandalug Battlehammer, the First and Ninth King of Mithral Hall dies of old age in the waning days of this year. Emissaries are despatched to Icewind Dale to inform Bruenor Battlehammer.

1371: The Year of the Unstrung Harp
      The frontier town of Tilverton is formally absorbed into the nation of Cormyr.
      The Confederacy of Luruar, also known as The Silver Marches, is declared a new country.
      Nalavara leads an army of goblins and other monsters, despoiling much of Cormyr. The elf-dragon and King Azoun IV slay each other in battle. This confict is often refered to as the Goblin Wars. The infant Azoun V, son of Princess Tanalasta, becomes King of Cormyr, with his aunt Alusair acting as Regent.
      Drow battle with priests of Tempus at the Abbey of the Sword, after coming through an unguarded portal deep beneath the re-built castle.
      Renegade sun elves, human sea-wolves, and drow join together to attack the island of Evermeet. The twin spires of the Towers of the Sun and Moon are destroyed. Elvish High Magic is lost. The Tree of Souls is planted, and a new elven homeland is born.
      Menzoberranzan's wizards, at the behest of Triel Baenre summon a horde of Bebeliths that completely eradicate the Svirfneblin city of Blingdenstone.
      Mulhorand invades Unther.
      Bruenor Battlehammer is informed of the death of Gandalug and begins the long trek to Mithral Hall to reclaim his throne.
      The Battle of Rocnest, the first major battle in the seige of Evereska.
      Alustriel Silverhand assumes the title of "High Lady of the Silver Marches" and forms the League of the Silver Marches, turning the confederacy of Luruar into a new country.
      The Northlander kings swear fealty to High Queen Alicia Kendrick, giving birth to a new nation titled the United Moonshae Isles.
      Eldan Ambrose is devoured by a summoned demon at the battle the Abbey of the Sword.
      Tanalasta Obarskyr, eldest daughter of King Azoun IV, dies.
      Aubric Nihmedu is killed in the Battle of Rocnest.
      Waterdeep is invaded by a host of sahuagin, streaming forth from the Sea of Swords.
      The Summoning: The Netherese city of Shade returns to the world of Faer�n and evil Archwizards begin an invasion of the realms.
      The orc chieftain Obould "Many Arrows" joins with a group of frost giants led by Gerti Orelsdottr to bring war to the fledgling Silver Marches, beginning with the destruction of the small settlement of Shallows, north of the Fell Pass.
      The wizards Eldeluc and Valkebar slay the "Wizard of Green Fire" and usurp Arklem Greeth's position as leader of the Arcane Brotherhood. He is forced to flee to Mirabar.
      The settlement of Newfort is established by ex-Zhent soldiers.
      A group led by Melegaunt of Shade succeed in destroying the demi-lich Wulgreth of Netheril and vanquishing the lich Wulgreth of Ascalhorn. They steal the Karsestone from Karse and flee that dark, ruined city.

1371: The Year of Wild Magic
      Galaeron Nihmedu unwittingly releases the phaerimm from their prison under the dunes of Anauroch, the phaerimm quickly isolate and besiege Evereska.
      Galaeron Nihmedu and Melegaunt Tanthul, a prince of Shade travel to Karse where they recover the Karsestone, destroying the lich Wulgreth who had used the stone as his phylactery.
      Tilverton suffers an attack by the forces of Shade Enclave in Mirtul. All that is left of the town is a dark, concave space filled with shadows and flitting regions of deeper darkness.
      Khelben "Blackstaff" Arunsun along with several other Chosen of Mystra muster a relief army in Waterdeep and set out to lift the phaerimm siege on Evereska.
      A tower of Githyanki design appears over what was Tilverton.
      Chieftain Grguch of Clan Karuck, a rogue cheiftain of Obould's horde attacks both the Moonwood and Mithral Hall's new eastern wall.
      Innovindil of the Moonwood and her pegasus steed Sunset are both killed in a skirmish with Clan Karuck on the western edge of her home.
      Grguch of Clan Karuck, legendary among the Orcs of the north, falls in battle to Bruenor Battlehammer. Belshazu was slain in the abyss by the drow wizard Pharaun Mizzrym.
      On Midwinter night, the god Bane returns to Faer�n, bursting forth from the skin of his son, Iyachtu Xvim. With his divinity restored, Bane quickly gains the portfolio of fear, restoring him to a Greater Power.
      Late in the year Lolth inexplicably falls silent, denying all of her worshipers of spells.
      The Shadovar melt large portions of the High Ice, causing wide-spread changes to Faer�n's climate and weather, leaving Western Faer�n beset by drought.
      Tarsakh: Citizens of Neverwinter begin falling ill from a plague later known as the Wailing Death. Within a few tendays most inhabitants of the city are dead or dying.
      Kern Desanea, son of Tarl and Shal Desanea, the "Heroes of Phlan", recovers the Warhammer of Tyr. For assisting with Kern's quest, the legendary undead paladin Miltiades is restored to life by Tyr.
      Eleasias: The gold dragon, Andragaulircalaum, is rescued from the Cult of the Dragon by The Seven from Silverymoon. Yet another defeat for the diabolical group.
      Retirement of Vangerdahast, leaving Caladnei as the sage of the Cormyrian court.
      The plot by the Githyanki and four Archmagi near Tilverton is discovered by the Bowl Wars Fellows.
      The Seraph of Lies infiltrates Shade Enclave on a mission from his wicked master. He briefly gains control of the Karsestone, but is eventually foiled by the Harper witch Ruha.
      The Treaty of Garumn's Gorge is signed, officially recognizing the Kingdom of Many-Arrows. It is the first ever Orc kingdom.
      Marponeth: Wistala the green dragon of Candlekeep Isles is defeated by The Seven from Silverymoon.
      Uktar: The Seven from Silverymoon learn that Driala is attempting to resurrect the defeated Cult of the Dragon. The Seven from Silverymoon kill Dhar-Sii the red dragon.
      Nightal: The Battle of Hellgate Keep.
      Arklem Greeth attains lichdom and regains the leadership of the Arcane Brotherhood with the aid of the erinyes Nyphithys.
      The Lady's Hand Monastery, dedicated to Loviatar and located in the Nether Mountains, is attacked and sacked by blue dragons of the Morueme clan and their hobgoblin servitors.
      The return of the city of Shade above the sands of Anauroch leads to widespread climatic changes throughout the North.
      The Bowl Wars Seven foil the plot of the Githyanki by killing all four Archmagi. The towers disappear shortly afterwards.
      Waterdeep send military aid to embattled Evereska which is under threat from the phaerimm and their thrall armies.

1373: The Year of Rogue Dragons
      Kaanyr Vhok and his Scoured Legion as well as the Duergar of Gracklstugh attack Menzoberranzan.
      The Ice Queen Iyraclea who had long made the Great Glacier her home, perishes. Thus beginning the inexorably slow melt of this great icy realm.
      Sammaster successfully ties his phylactery to the Dracorage mythal, separating the Rage of Dragons from the King-Killer Star and effectively causing all dragons to go mad.
      Tarsahk: The Seven from Silverymoon defeat Grythkandal, the Elven Tree of Death.
      Mirtul: Eyshiuthian the Silver Dragon is rescued by The Seven from Silverymoon. They also kill Krikk the White Dragon.
      Kythorn: Driala is killed by the Seven from Silverymoon before she can succeed with her plan.

1374: The Year of Lightning Storms
      Alturiak: Tower Reilloch on Evermeet is invaded by Daemonfey.
      Ches: An orc warband accompanied by daemonfey launch an overnight attack on Rheitheillathor in the High Forest. Although the wood elf inhabitants fought back, they were forced into retreat. The Battle of the Cwm sees the elves of Evereska and Evermeet victorious against the daemonfey armies, but not without heavy casualties.
      Tarsakh: The army from Everlund led by Methrammar Aerasum� is ambushed in the High Forest by the daemonfey and accompanying orcs. The daemonfey and orcs are driven back, but only one fey'ri is killed in exchange for a larger number of casualties on the other side.
      Nightal: The lich Priamon "Frostrune" Raksek is defeated by Khelben "Blackstaff" Arunsun, and teleported to Undermountain for the Mad Mage to exact revenge on the Frostrune. Sharran assassins bypass the wards on Elminster's tower and steal a Shadow Weave artifact called the Ebon Diadem. They activate it and it feeds off the power of the Sage's wards, alerting him. He comes to the defense of his home and although he defeats several, the assassins, bolstered by the Ebon Diadem manage to beat Elminster to the point where he is whisked away by contingency spells. The tower itself is blasted away into another plane. Hours later, Scyllua Darkhope invades Shadowdale from the north while drow attack the Twisted Tower from below. The Knights of Myth Drannor and the elves are busy fighting a second Zhent and drow army in the forest while the damage to the Weave that the sharrans had done made the magic of Shadowdale's defenders weak and unreliable. Despite a valiant effort, Shadowdale is overrun. To everyone's great surprise Mourngrym Amcathra announces an alliance with the Zhentarim who go on to place a strong garrison in the Dale and move to surround Myth Drannor.
      On the Feast of the Moon, a High Magic Ritual of Myriad is performed to restore Faer�tel�miir, the Library City of Miyeritaris as the renamed city of Rhymanthiin, the Hidden City of Hope in the High Moor. Many of the greatest mages of the North and Western Heartlands, in union with the mysterious Sharn take part. Ualair the Silent one of the Seven Wizards of Myth Drannor, and Khelben "Blackstaff" Arunsun forfeit their lives to complete the ritual, and their souls travel to Arvandor. Khelben leaves behind his lady Laeral, pregnant with his twins.
      Uktar: The Battle of Selgaunt is fought, as Searloonian forces, aided by the green dragon Vendemniharan besiege the city of Selgaunt. The forces of Selgaunt repel the attackers, with the aid of two princes of Shade � Rivalen and Brennus � and the newly raised flying enclave Sakkors.
      Eleasias: The crusading army of Evermeet combined with the forces of Sembia and the Dalelands defeat the Fey'ri legion and retake the city of Myth Drannor in the name of the Elves.
      Across Faer�n, people flock to Elversult to convert to the Church of Amaunator.
      The clergies of Cyric and Shar in Cormyr conspire to tear a hole in the Weave to create a vast Dead-magic zone.
      Alturiak: Sarya Dlardrageth uses the Gatekeeper's Crystal to dispel the magical protection on Nar Kerymhoarth and gains access, freeing nearly two thousand fey'ri.

1375: The Year of Risen Elfkin
      Hammer: Adventurers lead a rebellion against Shadowdale's new 'allies' after halting the degeneration of the local Weave and severely weakening the Zhent garrison.
      Kythorn: Szass Tam attempts to take over Thay as high zulkir.
      Hammer: Sylun� Silverhand sacrifices herself to heal a massive dead-magic zone that covers most of Shadowdale. Scyllua Darkhope dies at the hands of adventurers in the liberation of Shadowdale from the Zhentarim.
      Mirtul: Druxus Rhym, Zulkir of transmutation in Thay, is assassinated.
      Eleint: Halaster Blackcloak dies amidst earthquakes in Waterdeep and his soul is shattered into hundreds of fragments.
      Nightal: Selvetarm is slain by a mortal follower of Eilistraee wielding the Crescent Blade. Vhaeraun is killed by his sister, Eilistraee, when he attempts to enter her realm and assassinate her, in the process granting his portfolio to her.
      Ches: The ancient fey capital of Karador rises from the waters of the Myrloch on the southern-most of the Moonshae Isles, Gwynneth. The noble eladrin High Lady Ordalf proclaims herself queen of Gwynneth, or Sarifal - the ancestral lands that Karador once ruled over, thus displacing the human kingdom of Corwell.
      All arcane spellcasters and anyone with any connection to Undermountain receive visions from the spirit of Halaster.
      Uktar: The Great Race begins in Waterdeep with ten teams from throughout the Realms competing.

1376: The Year of the Bent Blade
      House Jaelre and Clan Auzkovyn are routed from the Elven Court by the forces of Myth Drannor.
      The Zhentarim conclude the war with Myth Drannor. A negotiated peace treaty between Fzoul Chembryl and Ilsevele Miritar leaves the forest to the elves, the lands north of Hillsfar and Dagger Falls and the rule of the Zhentarim, and gives the Black Network free passage along the Moonsea Ride and Rauthauvar's Road.
      Larger numbers of nilshai than ever before are reported in the Yuirwood. In response to this sharp increase and the creatures shocking depredations, the Simbul posts a bounty on nilshai hides.
      Flamerule: The Plane of Shadow invades an area of Thay. Adventurers from Neverwinter defeat the menace, creating the Bay of Chand in the process.
      Eleasis: Neverwinter is under siege from Duldach the Dark Boar. Duldach has an alliance with the great evil dragons of the North. Neverwinter is destroyed. The Knights of Neverwinter are formed to battle this scourge. Waterdeep wins The Great Race.
      Eleint: The Temple of the Prismatic Flame is discovered near Impiltur. Duldach is defeated by the Neverwinter Knights.
      Marponeth: Mystra is mysteriously replaced by her former incarnation, Mystrul.
      The religion dedicated to The One arises in Candlekeep with Markheim Flynn serving as its official prophet.

1377: The Year of the Haunting
      The Srinshee returns to Myth Drannor and offers Ilsevele Miritar the Rulers' Blade.
      Isvele humbly accepts it and takes the title of coronal.
      Kiaransalee joins the divine game of sava as a neutral player and orders her followers to alter faerzress radiation to more greatly affect the ability of drow to teleport and use divinations. Eilistraee counters by sending her worshipers to assault the Acropolis of Thanatos, killing all of Kiaransalee's crones. Q�arlynd Melarn uses kiira to allow himself and his apprentices to cast a High Magic spell that erases Kiaransalee's name from the Realms, effectively killing the lesser goddess.
      A minor earthquake off the coast of Amn disrupts Spellhold on the island of Brynnlaw. Several of the deviant magic-users inside manage to escape, vowing vengeance on the nation that imprisoned them.
      Queen Amlaruil arrives in Myth Drannor to congratulate Isvele Miritar. She brings with her a gift, the Tree of Souls which is planted in the Seldarrshen Nieryll (Starsoul Shrine).

1378: The Year of the Cauldron
      A crazed cultist of the efreeti Memnon called Roshanak attempts to start a holy war against the Sword Coast. He assembles the beginning of a huge fleet in Calimport but has a vision so startling he abandons his effort and disappears.

1379: The Year of the Lost Keep
      The Promenade is overrun by the faithful of Ghaunadaur.
      After a Netherese spy is caught and publicly hanged in Suzail by Alusair Obarskyr, a short-lived spark of hostilities known as the Four Day War is started with the Shadovars.
      Mulhorand finally conquers Messemprar, completing the empire's conquest of Unther. Mulhorand ceases hostilities with its neighbours, giving Alasklerbanbastos, with the backing of Thay and the church of Bane time to conquer Threskel, while Tchazzar cements his hold on the rest of Chessenta. Hostilities between all three soon resume along their shared borders and dragon raids cause chaos in the centre of each country.
      Amn's attempts to 'colonize' Chult begin to pay off.
      Qilu� Veladorn is slain by Halisstra Melarn who is then also slain.
      Eilistraee is decapitated and killed without possibility of return while possessing Qilu� Veladorn by Halisstra Melarn wielding the Crescent Blade.
      Ghaunadaur leaves the Demonweb Pits and moves his divine realm to the Deep Caverns after a failed assassination attempt by Lolth.
      A parasitic disease sweeps through Athkatla and kills one of the Council of Six. Citizens blame the tribe of Chultans that are being kept in a caged preserve in the city. An attempt is made to exterminate them but they escape to Amn's interior.
      A Elven High Magic ritual is preformed by Drow wizards from the city of Sshamath, that converts members of the Drow race untainted with the Balor blood of Lolth's current champion back in to brown skinned surface dwelling dark elves.

1380: The Year of the Blazing Hand
      A canal that links the Lake of Steam to the Nagaflow River is completed, linking the Sea of Fallen Stars and the western oceans.
      Araevin Teshurr successfully restores Myth Drannor's mythal. He tours the continent, visiting Waterdeep, Aglarond and Sild�yuir. He then sets out to find Auseriel where he meets and befriends Prince Lamruil. The two set out to find the missing Maura Silverhand.
      Sembia comes entirely under the rule of the Twelve Princes of Shade and begins its transformation into a state of Netheril.

1381: The Year of the Starving
      Northern Faer�n is hit by a freak cold snap, which ruins food crops and animal forage. Urban centres all over the continent see much of their populace go hungry.
      The food shortage exacerbates the Shou emigration out of the Unapproachable East.

1382: The Year of the Black Blazon
      Starmantle and Westgate seek to advertise themselves as the destination of choice for Shou immigrants.

1383: The Year of the Vindicated Warrior
      The War of Gold and Gloom comes to an end when the Army of Gold discovers the long-forgotten history of Clan Duergar which precipitates an attack from an army of illithid thralls. The Duergar and Gold Dwarf armies join with each other to repel the army and the Duergar take the most casualties. The Army of Gold offers an alliance to what remains of the Army of Steel and the united dwarves march to retake Shanatar where they hope to be better prepared to repel the inevitable second attack from Oryndoll.
      The Morndinsamman openly attack Laduguer and Deep Duerra. Laduguer is killed by Moradin and Deep Duerra is killed by Clangeddin but Gorm Gulthyn and Haela Brightaxe also die in the battle. Without the support of Laduguer and Deep Duerra the plane of Hammergrim disperses into the Astral Plane.
      The Durpari city of Vaelan becomes renowned across Faer�n for it's exotic body art which utilizes living crystal that also improves the talents of the subject.

1384: The Year of Three Streams Blooded
      In a misunderstanding and resultant quarrel over Tymora, Helm is slain by Tyr. Tymora herself moves her divine realm to the House of the Triad. The gods suspect Cyric but cannot prove anything.
      Ilmater and Siamorphe move their divine realms to Brightwater at Sune's invitation.
      Azoun V is crowned king of Cormyr. His first major act as king is to attempt to set up a jury system in Cormyrian law courts. He faces stiff opposition from the nobles as it would mean that any legal accusations they make against commoners would not automatically be settled in their favour. He eventually relents under the political pressure, but vows that one day he will successfully enact his decree.

1385: The Year of the Blue Fire
      The armies of Szass Tam assault the Citadel of Sorrows.
      The Spellplague:      Where once stood the realm of Sespech, the Golden Plains, and the Nagalands, the Spellplague reveals a surreal landscape breathtaking in its beauty, grandeur, and changeability.
      Cormyr is struck hard, but not so violently as many other nations. Roughly one third of all Wizards of War are slain, driven mad, or simply have gone missing.
      The Temple to The One in Candlekeep is destroyed and Markheim Flynn disappears.

1386: The Year of the Halflings Lament
      A portion of Toril's sibling world Abeir violently exchanges places with large sections of Chondath and western Chessenta. Displaced genasi from the Abeiran land of Shyr quickly set about creating a kingdom of their own.
      Markheim Flynn, previous prophet for The One, appears in the Underdark with Azuth and Velshoon in tow. This causes the former expanse of the Sea of Fallen Stars to be altered when wide portions of the landscape collapse into the Underdark. When the sea level reaches its new equilibrium, the average drop in water level measured nearly 50 feet. The waters of the Vilhon Reach were similarly drained, uncovering several drowned ruins from ancient Jhaamdath.
      The Arnrock volcano in the Lake of Steam erupts violently, wiping out the Halfling settlement that had sprung up on its long dormant crater.
      Nibble Stubbs, The great Priestess of Sune and Matriarch of the Stubbs clan, dies while tending a worshipper. She is elevated to a demigoddess in the service of Sune and taking the portfolios of Beauty, Romantic Love and Family for the Halfling pantheon.
      The Second Great Race is run. Ten teams start in Delzimmer. The team from Amn wins.

1387: The Year of the Emerald Ermine
      The Emerald Enclave begins sending agents throughout the Vilhon Wilds to counter the effects of the Spellplague. One of them, Chand the Wanderer, discovers the Crystal of Dweomerheart and uses it to bring back Mystra by elevating the child-mage, Elondra Potter. Azuth, Velshoon and Markheim Flynn appear to take Mystra and the Crystal to reform Dweomerheart. Chand is installed as the new Magister. Mystra reforms the Weave, unlocking artifacts and relics. She also places restrictions on the use of wishes and miracles.

1388: The Year of the Tanarukka
      The Gundwynd Clan is rendered extinct in Waterdeep after entering the burial portal in their family tomb in the City of the Dead to bury three members, shortly after the Spellplague first struck the city. All who emerge are permanently transformed into trolls or giants.
      Bullywugs tribes from the Farsea Marshes begin harrying Zhentarim forces operating throughout the Tunlands, diminishing Black Network activities in the region.

1389: The Year of the Forgiven Foes
      Althuriak: A strangely angular black monolith is sometimes visible breaking above the waves along Cormyr's coast, never in the same place twice.
