| Congential Diaphragmatic Hernia |
| A life threatening birthdefect caused by the fetal bowel pushing up into the chest cavity through an abnormal hole in the muscle seperating the chest from the abdomen (the diaphragm) |
| Anencephaly |
| A fatal birthdefect that happens when the neural tube does not fully close at the top. As a result, part of the skull and brain are missing. Babies with anencephaly die before birth or shortly after birth. |
