Hi, it's me, Dende, again and if you're here, it probably means you're thinking of
submitting a story. There are some guidelines I'd like you to follow if you want me
to publish you fic. Don't worry. They are simple and easy.
- I can definitely accept files with the following extensions: .doc, .txt, .htm
(or .html) or .rtf. You can send other extensions but I may not be able to read them.
- Please put a title and author name somewhere in your fic. Without them, it's
just a bunch of text.
- Please put in a disclaimer in your first chapter that says you do not own the
series you're writing about and give credit to the person who does own it. Here's an
example of a disclaimer: I do not own (name of Anime) or any of the its characters.
It is owned by (creator of series). It was produced in Japan by (name of original
studio) and in America by (name of translating studio).
- If you want to include your e-mail address with your fic, please tell me.
- Please use spell check. It's there for a reason. The spelling doesn't have to be
perfect but it should be readable.
- Please use normal grammar rules like capitals at the beginning of sentences and
punctuation marks (periods, question marks or exclamation points) at the end.
And when someone new speaks, it's a new paragraph.
- No lemons or Hentai type fics will be accepted and try to keep the
language toned down. Remember Trunks and Goten like to read these too.
I also have some suggestions to make your story more enjoyable for the Z-fighters:
- If you write a crossover, please list the Anime, TV shows or video games you
based your story on. Don't forget to mention all the owners in the disclaimer.
- I know there are severally different ways to spell Anime characters' names, but
try to stick to one way in your story. It makes it less confusing for the Z-fighters
and new fans.
- Try to use double quotes (") around dialog.
- It helps if you add a line about where the story takes place in Anime's
time line.
- If you use Japanese names, give the English translation if they're different.
