| I hated those porch windows (probably added in the 70's) - they just had to go. I've already removed the side ones in this photo, so I'm a bit happier... |

| Some of the original corner iron lattice pieces were missing, so, it was off to the foundry to get copies made. |

| Here the porch has all the lattice pieces removed (luckily I managed without breaking them) for preparation and repainting. The new house colour can just be see - the roof and the weatherboards to the right have been painted - blue and cream repectively. Not far away from complete now..... |
