| Kiwi inginuity? A cost effective sump. Get two 15ltr buckets, cut the bases out, duct tape together to form a long pipe, place in a deep hole, fill with stones, and extend the spouting down into them. Hey presto - storm water sump for very little money. The problem here was that we ruptured the mains water pipe while we were at it - ooops! |

| As a result of the fiasco above, I have to dig deep and pay these local lads a small fortune in gold to dig this ditch for the new water pipe. 10 metres of trench at $10 of gold (�3 in real money) a metre. And they wanted tea and cake. |
